Will Loot stay until the end of the event, or will it leave when Jackpot leaves on the 21st? I am just curious if players will have time until the end of the event to get one (if they have not bred one already).
Loot will remain in the event market after Jackpot expires.

This may be a dumb question but I’m going to ask anyway 😊 Since I’ve yet to breed a Mantasu dragon, am I better off pairing 2 dragons such as Lodestone and Sandstorm in the CBC, or pairing Mantasu with an elder or a dragon containing some of Mantasu’s elements in the CBC? I’ve checked out the Sandbox and compendium but I’d appreciate comments from forum members. Thanks.
Use Mantasu. You'll get combo and cloning odds, so it's automatically got better odds than any combo that doesn't involve Mantasu. Mantasu's Co-Op cloning odds are 10%, so you'll be increasing the odds by 10% which is a lot. If you can, I'd suggest using elders. If you can't or don't want to then it's generally suggested to use a dragon that doesn't add extra results and that has a low incubation time - so Sandstorm would be a good shout here. Adlerist's post also suggests Iron or Magnetic. (Adlerist's post about the dragon always has suggestions for cloning, often given by MinyaZ and I think also sometimes other people.)
MinyaZ provides the cloning dragons for the new releases. I forgot to thank her on the Mantasu post! 😬

Do not enter the desert without CharDoan, DawnieBurleigh, IrvineDreams, MinyaZ, and Suncentered. They are the greatest desert chaperones and the finest companions in the Vale!
Thank you, chardoan, dawnieburleigh, irvinedreams, MinyaZ, and suncentered! The manticore mass assembly is well on the way with man-eater monsters and medieval assurance. I’ve sent ancient gems and fabled treats to your Vale in great appreciation. Many Mantasu cheers!

I got lucky this afternoon and bred myself a twin Alayzem Dragon. This makes it so Nubis is the only starting dragon in which I do not have a twin of.
During Pirates in Paradise II, I remember being able to recieve a twin of all the starting dragons thanks to the help of a generous friend. So I guess the Paradise events treat me better than others.
The Original One is in all things. The Original One is nowhere at all. From all creations, over all creations, does Arceus watch over all.

Good job! I’ve gotten all the new dragons (so far) but I’m struggling to get any twins. Still time, though…

No twins here either. I think that the long breeding/fail times are slowing down the twin production! 😉
Veezir had learned much about the history of the Sandara Desert by excavating at Two Lands on the other side of the Sand Belt. Pharaoh was intrigued by this adventure and joined Veezir on a typically hot July day. 23 hours into their laborious dig, the ground fiercely and furiously quaked, creating a jagged divide that parted the desert in half. The land split deeper and a canyon formed that Vale historians would later call the Scar of the World. From the depths of the gorge, TUTAN rose into the sky spilling clouds of hot dust, like billowing ash. Veezir and Pharaoh toppled back stunned. They squinted up at Tutan, whose figure was pressed against the sun. Veezir whispered to Pharaoh, 'This is either our luckiest discovery or our unluckiest day.'
Tutan is in the co-op turning on the heat. Koala Tutankhamen to all!

Decorating a desert island with desert decor does not comfortably align with the image I have in mind while dreaming about the fantasy desert island to which I would like to be exiled.
When I think of desert island it is really a deserted island; sandy beach, easily climbable hills, lush vegetation, waterfall …oh and a friendly monkey and parrot. Coconuts, pineapples, crabs, and fish. How I ended up there would preferably be non-traumatic with everything I needed to get food etc. The only thing it doesn’t align with is reality.
But how do you get wifi for Dragonvale on a dream-worthy desert island?

Lovely new dragon! I hope to be able to breed it, since it's cloning odds stink.
I caved and purchased some dragons today:
1. Pharoah so I could try to breed for the new limited 2. Sunstruck in an alternate park for the same reason as above. 3. Chromacorn. After 22 days of trying to breed her, I'm giving up and buying her with the hopes of getting Spectrapod before the event ends.
The only one of the new non-limited dragons I got was Oasian. My sister got Nubis, I hope I can get them all before the event ends, as this was my first introduction to player contests!

This dragon looks great. Very Egyptian and Pharaoh like. The baby is cute with the adult being very regal looking. I was lucky enough to bred it first try in the EBC. He will be in co-op as soon as he finishes incubating! 😊
My game seemed to forget that there was a new dragon released today. First splash screen told me Labradorite was on last call, second screen told me it was double spice day. I'm hoping for third time lucky to be told that Tutan has been released! 😉

I have been seeing nothing but "You've been Given a Discount", since my park currently has a deal on Gems (bonus gems if you purchase them).
However, I have not spent any $ on DV since I started way back in 2017, and I plan to keep it that way. I have come a long way from there, and with my current park, I do not think I will need to purchase gems anyway.

This is such a cool dragon! I'm so happy we finally have a mummy! Somehow I managed to get him traited on Day 1 too. Now to get a normal one. Deca did a really nice job with this egg too. It's such a traditional DV egg! I was positive we were going to get the spoiler dragon this week. koala everyone!

The first thing I thought of when I saw Tutan was, 'Oh, Nubis has a friend!' The styles are very, very different, but Nubis could have been a parent to Tutan, and nobody would've questioned it.

This is a pet peeve of mine. Deca was really good about having the new limited announcement show first, then a year ago, they started to display out of order. After complaining, they were in order for a while, and now, since Summerthings, it’s all jumbled again. I had to reload my game three times to get Tutan’s announcement to show.
I’ll bring it up again, but it’ll likely be several weeks before it’s addressed.

This is more the art style I like for DV. Very traditional. Really wish they'd kept to this for Nubis. The 3D shading they used for him bothers me. Still, they've got a theme going between the dragons, which is nice to see. I like when they mesh well together in habitats. Honestly, the first thing we said in this house was how Tutan got a lot of the design features we expected for Jackal's rework. Not sure how to feel about it. I'm hoping for a Horus dragon. A nice falcon-dragon. Hawk approved.
