I have to say - I’ve had the worst breeding/cloning turnout for this event. So many long fails with these combos for the limiteds - plus I didn’t have most of the parents in the rift. I’m either going to have to use some stored wishes or spend some real money in order to get everything this time around.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll get some koalas for the final week or so of the event, and that they'll stay around for the next event! 🤞
If I have some excess koalas I'll send them your way! 🐨
It seems like the Efreet Dragon has managed to be a really difficult one to breed. Even over half of the players in Last Call, which are experienced like me, have not obtained the dragon yet after a whole week.
Although the parents are elemental combos, they have poor breeding odds, which makes it difficult to obtain them in the Rift. Besides, the low breeding rates of Efreet, alongside the fact that a whole bunch of elements are in the combo makes it extremely difficult to succeed, especially if you do not have access to Rift breeding.
The Original One is in all things. The Original One is nowhere at all. From all creations, over all creations, does Arceus watch over all.

Efreet has seven elements in its breeding combo, which increases the number of offspring to 104, including rainbow, olympus, and treasure fails. So, it’s not an easy dragon to breed in the Vale, even with a lot of gems spent. And luck will be involved to acquire Efreet in the Rift. The reps brought up this issue with Deca since we’ve seen so many complaints recently.

I'm pretty sure I saw someone mention this recently, but I think it would be cool if DECA were more selective with epic dragon hidden elements. Not just because it makes it easier to breed them and breed offspring with them (though that would be the main reason), but also because sometimes dragons have elements that just don't make any sense, but are there because the elements are in the parents. For example, why would Efreet be water or cold?
I like the idea of hidden elements because they're kind of like unexpressed genes, but I do think as events grow DECA will need to be careful not to let hidden elements get out of hand, to the point at which most newly released epics have 6-10 hidden elements.

I will admit that the combo given to Efreet is about the best it can get. The largest problem with that is the aforementioned seven elements conributed, which there really isn't much DECA can do about that.
HOWEVER, I do think that when the number of contributed primary elements is greater than five, the breeding chance for the limited dragon should be raised to counteract the number of breeding fails. Making Efreet have a 5-6% chance to be bred would help to counterbalance the difficulty of breeding the dragon due to the number of other combinations.

I think you might be thinking of my comments for Saharus (?) in Rate a Dragon. It has both plant and water hidden elements just because Mom and Dad had them. As I said there, if Deca continues to consolidate all the hidden elements from parents and primarily utilizes previous year’s new dragons as parents, it won’t take long for the vast majority of new epics to be pseudos. They’re gonna have to start trimming the fat.
I seem to have a few koalas hanging around my park. I managed a traited Efreet fairly early this week and just got my pedestal today. Still gotta get a normal one though. I gained 6 Misfortunes trying for Efreet… 3 of those in the Vale on days 1 and 2. Without the Rift, breeding for this limited would have been a disaster, as my alts are learning. Maybe the koalas are drawn to all that Misfit chaos (my army of Misfortunes is now 45 strong), who knows?! I’m just hoping they hang around for the last limited. Anybody else feel like this event has just flown by?

If the breeding pair is carefully chosen, 6-8 element breeding combos could be avoided, unless one of the breeding parents has 6-10 elements. If that’s the case, then the breeding percentage should reflect that. I don't believe it's necessary to remove elements from dragons so they can be parents, because once a dragon has a lengthy family tree, they’re not viable parents for future combos. It's too difficult for new and mid-level players to acquire them. RAD receives tons of complaints about this, and it’s echoed in all the DV communities. Having more new dragons with element-only combos is the solution, and it looks like Deca may be doing this with more element combos recently.

I wish the event would slow down!
It’s interesting that you keep all your Misfortune dragons. Perhaps they’re attracting more Misfortune. I haven’t bred one so far during this event. If you sell them, you’ll have a whopping 45 DC to splurge and splash around the Vale.

In 11 hours, Efreet will disappear in a puff of genie dust.
Buy or breed Efreet before the next daily reset
and don’t forget the pedestal!

I will say that, starting with Summerthings Magical, the breeding trees have been a little bit better than typical. And, I've noticed that DECA has been trying to incorporate one element combo per event, which I do enjoy.
A Thawsome Spring, however, was pretty bad for long breeding trees and difficult combos. One dragon required Pixie as a parent, and then there was Somnig...

In the desert, the only thing more valuable than gold is water. And the only thing more valuable than water is a lot of gold. The desert looks to AURUM for great fortune. In the magical and photogenic golden hour, just after sunrise and right before sunset, Aurum converts the golden sands of the Sandara into an oasis of refreshing, deionised, reverse osmosis, carbon filtering, microfiltrated sparkling mineral water. The desert depends on Aurum. Aurum is the desert.
Aurum is in the co-op swimming in a mirage of gold. Golden koalas to all!

I love Aurum but it's quite small ingame, would DECA be able to make it a lil bigger so we can see the amazing details?
