Arceus , also known as GluttonousGuzzy, created the Oasis Dragon for Deca’s Desert Community Design Contest. No desert is complete without an oasis, so Deca turned this haven from the heat into the Oasian Dragon.
So does that mean all 3 new releases were player-designed?

That is such a special picture! <3 I love how Round they both are. It’s crazy that they can fit in a habitat together and even cooler that they’re opposites. It’s surreal, really. My newby Nubis ‘Sizzle’ is chillin’ solo in a small sun habitat at the moment. But Lightmare comes to visit periodically from the habitat next door. :) I love that they incorporated the sun ray absorption into his animation and how he kinda blasts everybody with it after. Lol. Any idea what the bouncing is all about? My best guess has been ‘excited dog’.
Given the pattern from at least the last three events, I'd suggest not getting your hopes up too much. It looks like, if dragons haven't been in that type of event before, they don't show up in the gift (even if they're not technically new releases).
That said, while the pattern would suggest that, DECA can obviously choose to change it. It would be very cool if Glimmerwing was in the gift (especially since it's got a great design!).

Gravity (or Glimmerwing as I think hawk may have meant) is a galaxy dragon that isn't an exception to the galaxy dragons' "Co-Op By Cloning Only" rule. I.e. it can only be bred by using it in Co-Op. Also, any dragon that can be cloned - whether it's a galaxy or not - can be cloned anytime.

I’m actually looking to get a traited Gravity. I still have 7 Galaxy dragons to get traited- my goal is to have all dragons traited. We have such few opportunities to get them - Galaxy EOMs (a 90k etherium gamble for me atm), Day 2 gamble, golden chests, and Dragon Draws. I would be over the moon to have an easy win with a Last Day Reward Galaxy dragon choice. Top of my list is Glimmerwing, but I’ll scoop up traited Gravity if she shows.

I love the theme of this new event, and it brought back a lot of dragons on my wishlist!

The three new dragons being all fan-made is pretty special. And having two of the new dragon designers being part of our Forum is extra special. 😊

Especially considering that there were already two fan-designed releases, as DECA usually designs at least one of them (technically they designed all three but still, two are usually based off the fans' submissions). This is surely a first.

Gravity was released as part of the Camping Under the Stars event last year. No guarantee, but Deca 'usually' include the new dragons in an event in the next similar event. I'm very hopeful that it will be included automatically in the next event and be included in the final gift. 😊

I just realized that today's my lucky day as I also got my wish!!! I am now kinda tempted to use it on an Oasian Dragon once the event is done, if somebody were to get me a twin.
Should Malefice be included in this event? Malefice arrived with a caravan of wandering traders. Seems like a good fit.

This is not the first time Deca has had three player-designed dragons in an event.
There really isn’t a process for notifying players that their dragon is an event. Hawk and Frostwing contacted Deca when the event started. When I asked Deca about the delivery of their dragons (Nubis and Alayzem), I was informed there was a third player design. I guessed it was yours, and they confirmed.

I haven't had a chance yet to decide what I want to breed, so I just kept breeding for the DW dragons I was already trying for, and I just realised I got Sea Shanty!!! 🌊🎶

This is not the first time Deca has had three player-designed dragons in an event.
I do remember that there were three fan-inspired dragons for Lovely Doubly (divi, brutiful, and mesmerus). However, I do not recall there being any event where all three starting releases were fan-inspired. There has been two, but the third has always been DECA designed - at least until now, anyway.
