#1 - The contrast of colours still works very well! The outside is quite cluttered but I can still see that a lot of thought was put into the placement. #2 - Oh my, this is gorgeous! I always admire well-done stair illusions. Unlike #1, some parts of this island feel very sparse, but that means you appreciate what is there more! #3 - This is the embodiment of 'summer'! It feels like it might fit the Paradise event more thematically but it works here too. I love Ikatako, so I love the barrels! #4 - I really like the contrast of the overall symmetry of the island mixed with the finer-details which are asymmetrical. #5 - Again, this feels more Paradise-y, but I've got no problem with that! This is a gorgeous island. #6 - Wow! This island looks like a celebration of all things DragonVale, so brings to mind the possibility of students going on expeditions to learn about dragons! #7 - Similarly to #1, it looks quite cluttered, but the outcome is pretty! #8 - I LOVE how the participant has added to the 'schoolyard' vibe of their Discovery submission. Now it seems like a vast field, where students can go to watch dragons living in their natural environments. #9 - This is a very interesting island! I like how it's clear that it's a place for students, but has ways they can relax and have fun too! #10 - I love it! It looks very cozy in the centre, but there's clearly a lot of life! #11 - This is stunning! Similarly to #8, this feels like a place where students can study dragons. #12 - I like how the participant has mixed Summerthings Magical with a Paradise theme. The island itself looks very pretty.
In the end, I'll be voting for 5, 6, 8, 11 and 12. But everyone's islands look so good!

For the second page, I love all the views too! On the eighth picture, I love this unusual path. And, as usual, I'm fond of... this 3D cubes on the 11th and 12 th islands. But, as I was writing in my first post, ALL THESE ISLANDS ARE BEAUTIFUL! And thanks a lot, Ney, for this magical contest!

Well, since it's against the rules to vote for ALL of them ... i needed to set some parameters. Every single day of this entire event, i was greeted by Mrs. Murphy's School of Spellwork & Sorcery so i voted accordingly. Every. single. one. i voted for met or exceeded my expectations. However, i was totally unable to walk away without placing one more vote for #12 because THAT is a place i would like to visit. Let the creator be aware that 'imitation' is a sincere compliment!
First, a BIG thank you to @ney for launching this contest. I cannot imagine all the time and effort you have spent in organizing, coordinating, viewing, checking, and posting all the entries. 🥳🥳👏👏
All the entries are beautifully done! I really appreciate the artistry each contestant demonstrated in decorating their islands. I like them all. But…we have to vote. I base my voting according to the guideline of fitting the Summerthings Magical event theme. I look for islands that signify to me something that is magical with a touch of summer and/or fun. The inclusion of the Mrs. Murphy’s School decoration is also one of my deciding factors. Hence my choices: 8, 9, 11, and 12.

This level is the level for « collector decorators » and I want first of all thanks all the entrants for their dedication to respect the purpose : give a sumptuous setting to the dragons of the event and collect a maximum of decorations, dragons and pedestals released in the Vale for the first time during the "Summerthings Magical" event with a maximum of diversity. A major challenge brilliantly taken up by us participants! A huge thank you to them for playing the game for this Wizard level !
All submitted island are absolutely gorgeous, stunning , fabulous , fantastic … no enough words to described the amazing work of ou collector decorators!
The choice will be difficult and dear forum members , you have the heavy responsibility of deciding between them in terms of the design of the island! Come on the ISLAND DECORATION CONTEST thread to like 👍 your favorite islands
VOTING RULES :
You can vote for one or more islands but not for all the islands, at least two of them must not have received your approval.
This does not mean that the islands are not beautiful and amazing but we need a ranking!
