Very happy for the expansion- definitely needed the new island!! Just an odd one- do we know if there may be any chance Deca might add some kind of upgrade that lets you rotate decorations? Just that with the size of some of the new ones, and the space they take up, they can be very blocking. Just being able to turn them would be a huge help!
Decorations and buildings cannot be rotated because the graphics are 2D. Backflip, the creator and former developer of DragonVale tried to mirror the decos and buildings, which would allow players to flip the item. However, since the shadows are baked into the graphics, the shadows were mirrored as well. And since they weren’t consistent with the light direction on all the buildings, it looked wonky, and they decided against it.
I'm trying to decide if I should buy the last galaxy island with gems now or wait 142 days to use a wish 2 out for it. (Next wish is going for the upgraded megatat.)
I don't need it, precisely, but I have more than a few traited galaxy dragons just in the hibernation caves.
If I do get it, I'll finally own all the islands, including the expanded lost and olympus ones, so that'd be cool.

It looks like DECA is saying the upgraded Megatat (Omegatat) won't be available for a wish (at least not right now). Maybe it will later, but maybe this info will help you make up your mind about whether you'll be spending gems on the next Galaxy island now or waiting. koala deciding!

Distracting the competition with a gigantic pollenizer flower, Pollenizer eased into first. Liveloch splashed around to drown out the rest, but it did little to deter Waterwalker, who is literally named after walking in water. And at the last moment, in two long strides, Waterwalker stepped into third, while Pikeleaf rolled in closely behind.
We have moved from harvest delights to silent nights, as we are already knee-deep in the snow (apologies for the lateness). This thread will be locked and filed away in the Library soon. Revisit it with a hot cup of toddy and holiday treats!
