I finally got an 18 hour timer on my double Lovey clone and skipped it out of excitement... Bramble! I didn't even realise there was another possibility 🥲 I'm trying to save gems at the moment so I'm trying to avoid much speed breeding, so back to square one 😆

Thanks for the updates adlerist . Do we know for sure if Gravity is in the Galaxy Egg of Mystery? I know it has been around for a while, but it is also a Deca Galaxy dragon.
It would be nice if Petal Island could stay until the end of the event, it is lovely seeing it sitting above the Rift Portal. If it does leave early, I hope that Deca will announce that it is leaving. They have added a comment in front of Petal Island for each time the petals are cleared, so perhaps they could announce its leaving this way as well? There is a greater chance that most players will see an announcement in game.
When Deca confirmed that Lambovian was not in the Galaxy Egg of Mystery, I immediately asked them about Gravity. And also Lunis and Solis, but I believe Lunis and Solis were added. All the Backflip Galaxy dragons are in the egg. I’ve received them. But I haven’t tried since Deca developed their Galaxy dragons.
I would love for Petal Island to remain until the event concludes. It seems like a lot of work for an 11-day showing. Hopefully, Deca will include some instructional text or a pop-up. Players usually have to rely on the DV communities to receive directions about a new feature.

I ended up changing my plan a bit, since while (excluding Paradise dragons) I have most DW dragons, I don't have many pedestals of the DW dragons - namely the gemstones that show up around summer time (so since they can't be cloned this is probably my last chance to get them until they show up again), so I'm working on those since Lovey's odds are decreased quite a bit by the amount of elements in the combo. I have a plan to make sure I eventually get traited versions of all Valentines and Spring evos, though it will involve a wish or two or some extra breeding next event. (Unless a twin weekend happens in between, fingers crossed...!)
Do you think DECA would consider a slight extension of Lovey's availability to match the Petal Island's availability, since it would only be a short extension? It's not something I need myself now that I've changed my plan a bit, but I would guess some newer players/people who want traited Loveydovey would find that helpful.
For those who were planning on ignoring donation boards this week - I am in the same boat, but I would definitely recommend still working on individual squares if they only require primary dragons/elements! With a fully upgraded Gaia all primary eggs take fewer than 10 gems to immediately speed up, and depending on how many spaces are either "free" or primary dragon/element it can actually get you a couple hundred roses if you're lucky. That's my plan (and pretty much what I do anyway since I still have a lot of dragons I want)
I am hoping Deca will let Lovey remain as long as Loveydovey. Lovey is not an easy dragon to breed in the Rift, especially with DW adding to the fails. To me, it makes sense that Lovey would be available with Loveydovey.

Lovey and Loveydovey share the same primary elements, but Loveydovey also adds Aura. Any chance Deca could add Aura to the end of Lovey’s element list so the two dragons could be housed together in an Aura habitat?
Right now, in Gaia's nest, the only way to tell Lovey’s egg from Loveydovey’s egg is by clicking on the nest and looking at the border around the egg's icon — one is epic and one is not. Until the egg design is changed for one of them, I’d rather not have them both be epic dragons and indistinguishable in the nest.
I believe Deca purposefully made Lovey rare and Loveydovey epic, so I’m not sure they’ll change Lovey. They will also say that players can house both of them in a Plant Habitat, Earth Habitat, Dark Habitat, Dark Rewards Habitat, and Omnitat. I know it’s not the same as an Aura Habitat, but I can hear Deca's response. 😊

LI’m pretty sure I’ve lost a lovey I bred in my rift. I don’t believe I can prove it as my game crashed just after I claimed it so I didn’t even get to screenshot it. I had to breed the Rosegold first, got that yesterday and then got pretty lucky with getting Lovey not too many breeds later. I remember being super chuffed as it dark traited (my fave) I then started trying for another limiteds parent. I wouldn’t have tried for the other upcoming limiteds parents if I didn’t have a traited Lovey already.I only discovered it missing this evening when I went to try breed another so I can evolve one to Loveydovey.
Is there any way Deca can tell if I did bred and loose the Lovey? I think it was one of those crashes that pops up the “we’ve been notified” messages and then restarts.
Do I have any hope of getting my traited Lovey back?
If you can tell support when (date and time) you bred Lovey in the Rift, they can look at your game and verify you bred it. I believe that is their policy. So hopefully, the breed is on the server. If they cannot verify, then unfortunately they can’t give the dragon because players could take advantage of this.

I finished the petal, I can see the chest but the love potion deco is not showing in my gifts. I opened it several times😣😣😣
I’ve updated the instructions for Petal Island and added a screenshot of the cleared Magical Petals, revealing the Enchanted Chest. After tapping the chest, the Enchanted Chest button appears in the lower right corner. Players need to tap the button to make the chest disappear and the Love Potion decoration will be sent to their Gifts.
Remember, you'll need to open your Gifts TWICE for the deco to appear. You don’t have to reload your game, just open the Social menu twice. The deco will be one of the first items listed.
If there is anything else that isn’t clear, let me know, and I can add more images. I was trying to get the post out quickly, and I wasn’t sure how much detail to include, so I added the info that players had already asked questions about.
The petal clearing process is identical to the Summerthings Magical forest clearing for Mrs Murphy’s School.

I missed that one last year and haven't been able to breed one yet. If I knew for sure that it would be available, I wouldn't feel so bad about spending event currency to clear the petals and evolve my Lovey. If that information is too spoilery, then I understand. Doesn't hurt to ask, though. 💕

Any dragon that was in the event last year is pretty much guaranteed to show up in the gift. It's not 100% guaranteed since DECA could always decide to change how they do things, but given the fact that's been the case for ages means it's probably okay to assume.
The only dragon from Lovely Doubly that I wouldn't assume will be in the gift is Mesmerus. Since it's not technically "in the event" (i.e. to be bought) it could go either way.

Sadly I’ve just received an email stating that this usually happens when the device temporarily loses internet connection and my logs have been looked at and they can’t see what I described, so they won’t be sending me my Lovey
I haven’t been having any luck re-breeding my rift Lovey, I don’t think I’ll get it in the last two days boo hoo

Lovey is being very difficult to breed. In two parks breeding through 15,000 every day I've bred one rifted one. I am hoping to breed two in the rift so I can use them to breed more Loveys so I can evolve or or two to Loveydovey.
I purchased a Lovey in both parks and trying to double clone them is also not being very successful. So many long fails.

I have my Loveydovey in coop and woke up to a twin notification. It’s a Lovey twin, close enough, I’ll evolve it to get my Loveydovey twin. Still no rift Lovey and I’m going through the 15k breed, so here’s my official whine, and also thanks to CK KOH for the twin!
Edited to add that my whine worked! The koalas visited my park and a water trait Lovey in my park now. Thanks 🐨!Didn’t get a second one today but there’s still tomorrow’s breeds.

Apart from an early Lovey twin and a Portent earlier on in the week I haven't had too much luck with Lovey/Loveydovey or DW, but it all came at once! A Lovey clone and a twin from a friend yesterday, and today, all three of my main park caves are currently breeding dragons I want for pedestals - Tourmaline, Peridot and Quintessence! The timers are quite long but, even better, I will be able to use Kairos this evening (I could have used it yesterday but decided not to since I wanted to "reset" it to my preferred time as it were), so I'll only need to use about 20-30 gems to clear all three caves for new attempts. 😁 All in all this week's gone pretty well, even if mainly in the last 24 hours! 😆 Update: I also managed to get Jasper and possibly a second Loveydovey!

Ok, I’m gonna try a little whine as I still haven’t managed to re-bred a rift Lovey 🍷🍷🍷and I’ve been breeding through to 20k each day since I discovered it disappeared on game crash. Hopefully the whine will work for me like it has for others.
I really don’t like when DW turns up in events, it just makes it so much harder to get the limiteds. Although perhaps I shouldn’t whinge too much as I have bred three rift Trimera’s and a couple of other DW dragons that were missing from my rift, so it’s not all bad. I’m sure if I hadn’t lost my Lovey, or been able to re-breed it by now, I’d be pretty happy.
Koalas to me and everyone else still trying for a Lovey or two in their rift.
