PSA: Lovey Dragon and Petal Island will remain in the Vale until February 29th
Due to the difficulty of breeding Lovey, Deca Games has agreed to extend Lovey’s stay to Thursday, February 29th at 14:00 UTC (daily reset). We now have another week to breed Lovey multiple times in the Vale, Rift, and for twins and pedestals. With your extra Loveys, you also have more time to evolve them into Loveydoveys. Petal Island will stick around, and you can evolve Lovey with 1,000 Roses until February 29th.
Many thanks to all the Forum members, mods, and admins who complained. I passed on your comments, concerns, and quotes, and it resulted in Lovey’s extension. 💕

Apart from an early Lovey twin and a Portent earlier on in the week I haven't had too much luck with Lovey/Loveydovey or DW, but it all came at once! A Lovey clone and a twin from a friend yesterday, and today, all three of my main park caves are currently breeding dragons I want for pedestals - Tourmaline, Peridot and Quintessence! The timers are quite long but, even better, I will be able to use Kairos this evening (I could have used it yesterday but decided not to since I wanted to "reset" it to my preferred time as it were), so I'll only need to use about 20-30 gems to clear all three caves for new attempts. 😁 All in all this week's gone pretty well, even if mainly in the last 24 hours! 😆 Update: I also managed to get Jasper and possibly a second Loveydovey!
So I also ended up getting Liberty, Firework and Kite! Apparently my luck decided to wait until the last moment. 😆
I was having trouble sleeping so popped on here and saw the great news. Yay for the PSA Adlerist and for all the advocating you and the reps do/did to get this extension. I’m so happy Lovey is sticking around a bit longer.
Having read the PSA I decided to see if my earlier whinge had worked and try my luck and do a few quick rift breeds before I try get back to sleep and I got a rift Lovey! Water traited instead of the dark that disappeared but finally I have one back and I have another week to hopefully get a second to make a Loveydovey.
It seems fitting that I send lots of koalas to all that need them as I now head off to sleep with a Lovey happy heart.
Ok, I’m gonna try a little whine as I still haven’t managed to re-bred a rift Lovey 🍷🍷🍷and I’ve been breeding through to 20k each day since I discovered it disappeared on game crash. Hopefully the whine will work for me like it has for others.
I really don’t like when DW turns up in events, it just makes it so much harder to get the limiteds. Although perhaps I shouldn’t whinge too much as I have bred three rift Trimera’s and a couple of other DW dragons that were missing from my rift, so it’s not all bad. I’m sure if I hadn’t lost my Lovey, or been able to re-breed it by now, I’d be pretty happy.
Koalas to me and everyone else still trying for a Lovey or two in their rift.
I'm really sorry about your lost Lovey and not being able to breed it again. That stinks. I wish I could give you some of my luck because... I'm having a lot of it relating to Lovey and Loveydovey.
Case in point, I was able to breed my Loveydovey with adlerist's Loveydovey in coop and get another Loveydovey, which I plan to turn into a pedestal. Please koalas, go visit Miralen's park!
I'm admiring 2 pigeons on the roof opposite grooming each other, quite reminiscent of Lovey Dovey in their care for each other and in their colouring. Maybe I'm going a bit soft.
Thank you adlerist for working so hard on all our behalf. I bet you have been staying up all night, (hopefully not losing too much sleep), reviewing and quoting all the whines and comments, cutting and pasting them to be submitted, working on Deca time no less.🙏🙏😊
The extension of Lovey is fantastic! With DW ending, hopefully players will be able to breed Loveys with more ease. 🐨🐨🐨❣️❣️
Now that I have a rift Lovey am I better off continuing to breed with the Rosegold and Cyclamen parents or change to Lovey and something else? The sandbox indicates both fewer fails and better odds using Lovey as a parent. Whenever I’ve tried moving to the target dragon being used as a parent in the past it seemed I still had better luck with the original parents. What do you do when trying for you second of a dragon?

Not having much luck with Lovey in the Rift. I’ve bred up through 15,000 every day (20,000 today), and all I have to show for it is one (untraited! 😡) Lovey. Seems like my chances of getting two traited Loveys (one to evolve) over the next two days are pretty small. I guess I better put out some 🧀 and 🥖 to go with the 🍷. Oh koalas, koalas, wherefore art thou?

Whaddya know? I managed to finally breed a traited Lovey on my first Rift breed today! It's nice to know that we can sometimes take advantage of the koalas' refined culinary palates and lure them over to our parks with delectable victuals! 🍷🧀🥖🙂🐨
I haven't yet done any further attempts today to get a second Lovey. I should probably hurry up so that I might catch the koalas again before they head on to some other park. But it is good to know we have another week just in case.

The sandbox percentages are approximated. They’re based on an old formula. The most accurate odds are in Quil’s Compendium. The first post on this thread has a link to the Compendium spreadsheet. The thread also has instructions on how to use it, and if you have questions, you can post them on the thread, and a Forum member or staff member will help.

I have only been on this forum for a little while but I can wholeheartedly agree with MinyaZ
As Gardenia was leaving the Flower Festival, she noticed something brilliantly red glimmering in the hedges. She peered closer, and saw a pair of eyes. RUBRUM looked up at her. 'You are such a beautiful colour! I’ve never seen this shade of red,' exclaimed Gardenia. Rubrum smiled knowingly, as everybody commented on his beauty, 'I bring colour to the flowers. Before the Great Colour Guard, all flowers were grey'. Gardenia gasped, 'That was you?' She envisioned Cadberry Meadows, and with the roses and cherry blossoms, there was a lot of pink, 'I know a place that could use a little more colour'. Rubrum grinned widely, and his deep red gleamed.

Rubrum is beautiful. I kind of got spoiled for some of its appearance because it must have been leaked early and one of my friends have had it up for the event, and the icon doesn't really show just how pretty it is, so I was surprised to see how it really looks!
