If you purchase the new treat buildings, each one will grow 200,000 treats every 23 hours. Plus, a special NPC will be released into your Vale. The Dark Manor introduces vampires, the Erie Cemetery conjures the Grim Reaper, and the Coven Hut summons Glumi.
And... they will NOT depart with the event!! Throughout the year, vampires, Grim Reapers, and Glumis will bring a little Halloween to your day. Such joy!

I'll wait till closer to the end of the event before buying these, but I'm looking forward to collecting treats from them every day and seeing the extra NPCs. I have an island already set aside and have a couple of Spooky Habitats that I can still buy.
Has anyone already bought these? I'd love to come for a visit and see them in action. 😊
You are welcome to come and visit my park, we are friends and I just decided to buy these three buildings. Pushing some decorations, pulling some others… the first building ( and the second one too!) is a big one! Needing a lot of place!
If anyone has seen my co-op koalas, or indeed if they’re enjoying your park, I’d very much appreciate it if you could please tell them I miss them and would love it if they popped back to my park for at least a visit.
I have had absolutely no luck in the co-op so far this event, not a single unbreedable dragon has decided to grace my park, even with spending quite a few gems speeding up fails. Thankfully my rift and regular cave aligned koalas have dropped by though. I did ok with Jialong, Drack-o-lantern and Candycorn getting a mix of traiteds and regulars for each but no twins in sight. Come back co-op koalas, pleeeease.
I'm having mixed results with the twinning co-op koalas. I have a twin Dragpir in one park and a twin Spooker in the other. But not a twin Jialong, Drack-o-Lantern or Candycorn in either park. It's still early for Candycorn, I'm hopeful. 😊
I've been lucky with Candycorn. Both parks have bred a Candycorn in the Rift - and only one of those was without a trait. 🙃

Then I was slammed with this board. I could fill some of them from my gifts, but a Trilobite? Really? Again? Last time Donation Boards were in an event I had a board wanting a Trilobite as well. Not a dragon that I have sitting around in my gifts. 🙃

I feel you MinyaZ I got much the same yesterday, the only difference is I got Snowy Olympus instead of Trilobite. I don’t have many of these types of dragons sitting my my gifts to use.

Too busy breeding missing traited versions of dragons .. Besides, they are always asking for dragons that I don’t have from my gift list. Case in point, I have tons of Wraiths in one account, but they only ask for it in the other account which has none. Same goes for Meteors, Promethiums, Acids, etc…😖

Really not a fan of donation boards. To me the point of the mini games is to be a fun supplement to the main game mechanics of breeding and park management. A game that requires you to sacrifice your breeding goals is just….not fun? If you’re early game, you’re going to find them impossible or just not worth the time when there is so much else to work on, if you’re late game, you probably don’t really need the extra candy? Am I missing some dynamic that makes them actually worthwhile? Down with donation boards, up with eggy hatchy!

Donation boards give a player the opportunity to get more event currency than they would get just through normal play - breeding etc. When it is a doubles day, there can be quite a bit of currency earned, especially if a board is completed. Some players will only complete boards on a doubles day.
It can be quite strategic whether a player fills any donation boards. It can be a juggle between breeding for missing dragons in the Dragonarium (or Rift) and breeding for the board. A player that is breeding for missing dragons could select the combos that could also give them a dragon for their current board.
Many players will keep twins to use for Donation Boards. They won't have every dragon in their gifts menu, but will be able to use some twins for some boards.
But all players can earn some extra currency even if they only complete those slots that ask for an element only. Primary dragons can be purchased from the market and complete the slot that way. If a board is never completed, a player won't be given boards with Epic dragons on them.
But, in saying all that, I'm not a fan of donation boards either. 😊 I would much rather have Eggy Hatchy or Runic Caves (or nothing) during an event. Having Donation Boards removes the ability to release dragons in the Rift for Etherium.
Trilobite and Violetta show frequently on the donation boards, but I don’t recall seeing other Chrysalis dragons. Bronze, Silver, and Gold Olympus and their Snowy Olympus counterparts also appear a lot. Hydra and Elysium make occasional showings, but I think that’s it for the Olympus dragons. Certain epic dragons are on the boards. And some epic elements are totally omitted, like Seasonal, Aura, Hidden, Monolith, Snowflake, Melody, Ornamental, Surface, Zodiac, and of course, the Gemstone and Crystalline dragons. Also, dragons and hybrids from the late Backflip years to today were never added.
It would be best to remove the epics from the boards. But since Deca seems opposed to the idea, if the epics aren’t specific dragons, just the epic element, that would be better. Then, players can use whatever they have in their gifts or breed the epic dragon with the shortest breeding time. Also, Rift exclusives and Ghostlies should go since they can only be bred in specific locations.

Deca are not supposed to put the new limited dragons in Donation Boards. Candycorn is not that easy to breed - you're not going to give one away!
Unfortunately you will have to sit the board out, unless you manage to breed a spare Candycorn to donate.

This is an error. New limiteds shouldn’t be on the donation boards. On Friday, a player on Reddit also received Candycorn and Corrupticorn. I informed Deca. They likely removed the new and difficult limiteds today. Sorry about that, Dragonmum! Candycorn can be a little rascal.

I think my trait giving koalas have either moved out or gone to sleep. One park has just bred its second non-traited Candycorn. And in co-op using two Candycorns, all I'm getting is Meadow and Luminous. 😑

Luckily I’m not too fussed about the donation boards at the moment as I’m still trying to breed Awoo & Spooky. happy to sit it out, however it would be nice if it was debugged for others who maybe need the EC more than me.

It wasn’t easy to make room for each of these in my zoo, but I couldn’t resist them - and the new creatures they bring with them. I’m wondering if the NPCs will just fit in with the other visitors or if they’ll show up with special visitors and flag bearers when the Pantheon is set? Anyone know?

I managed to breed several Candycorn dragons in my park, but no luck in the rift. Also can’t seem to clone Awoo yet.
I’m also running into issues with tons of connection errors. I’ll be in the rift collecting and then BAM I’m kicked out of the game and have to redo everything I did in the last couple minutes.

The vampire, Grim Reaper, and Glumi will be among the regular visitors. They won’t be tappable like the flag bearers or have a special Prismatic Pantheon setting. They can also appear on any island, not just the island that has their corresponding building. But they don’t show on every island, so you won’t be overwhelmed by them.
I love having a memento of the event in the form of an NPC. It's a wonderful reminder of all the pumpkin fun times!
