Not the best of weeks in my park. In the rift I spent 29,000+ etherium for an EOM and got - wait for it - a Plant Rift egg that I could have bought for 2,500 etherium in the market. Deca won’t refund my lost etherium either. And I continue to get primary rift breeding failures which represent more wasted etherium.
The Candycorn dragon is completely generic and has a horrible breeding combo. I could stock an entire park with Luminous and Meadow breeding failures from this week. It’s a shame the other 808 non- mythic/legendary/gemstone/evolution dragons were engaged elsewhere and unavailable for use in candycorn’s breeding combo. On the other hand, I did finally unlock Jive Chive treats and pay 100 gems to evolve a traited Seed dragon into a traited Vidalia dragon, but results have been negative from the rift breeding cave with any Ambrosia/hidden combo. And, given the obvious LOTR reference in Candycorn’s description, I expected a dragon with a bit more sinister appearance. A fiery whip would have been perfect. I feel a bad review coming on.

Awoo’s co-op cloning percentage is a mere 1%. Players will need luck to clone him during the event. I didn't bother and purchased him.

Aww, I like Candycorn. He’s a goofy little glob. Very adorable and pays homage to the odd, waxy candy that is Halloween.

Thanks, adlerist! I figured the issue was on my side. I have Spectrum for internet, and ever since Hurricane Helene came through, my connection drops several times a day. I did manage to play this evening with no crashes.

You are not having a great week. Unfortunately the EOM are a gamble and unless you buy an Gemstone or Epic EOM, you can pretty much get any dragon. Bad luck getting a Plant Rift though, that would have been disappointing.
Candycorn's breeding combo Ambrosia + hidden isn't too bad but the breeding percentage makes it a tricky little blighter to breed. Using Ambrosia + Vidalia gives the least number of fails as it doesn't contribute any extra elements.
Cloning Candycorn is another subject altogether. If you don't already have a Candycorn to use, the co-op cloning percentage is only 1%, so a great deal of luck is needed to clone one. Even having two Candycorns to use in co-op only gives 15%. The fact that Candycorn only contributes plant and light is a win in my book. Yes, it gives lots of Luminous and Meadow fails, but there are only four possible fails (Meadow, Poshwing, Luminous and Bellflower) and the highest fail time is 16 hours which means you can do a lot more breeds. Candycorn is like Apex, Coldcoil etc as they also only contribute two elements.
Unlocking Jive Chives is great. Evolving a traited Vidalia gives you the best hidden dragon to use for getting Candycorn. And you'll get through a lot more breeds in the Rift. 😊
Please don't be too hard on Candycorn, he's doing his best with what he's been given. I'm not sure about a fiery whip. 😉

I think Candycorn is kinda a cute wee dope. Looks like he has the measles traited, which is funny. He’s absolutely determined to avoid my park (I’m looking good for a win in last call, lol) but I’m trying not to take it personally.
Candycorn has found all the good hiding places in the Vale, not all players have managed to find them. A cauldron filled with treats at this time of the year doesn't look out of place and it's hard to tell which ones are holding a Candycorn dragon. But there's not much time left to find one.
Candycorn will be leaving at reset on Thursday.

I’m not sure this has ever happened for me before! I got a new dragon on my FIRST try in co op and it’s a Twin! Big thanks to adlerist for my Yaga Twin! This dragon is fabulous, dark, slimy, and looks dangerous. Did i mention fabulous? Thanks adlerist!
