Back to the original topic. Here is my name story. I was looking for names for online when I got to knowing what the internet was in the mid 1990's. So I went to my college library, and went to the section that had the really old books in it. There was a book of names, so I figured that was my source. I really wanted to know when someone was talking to me, so figured to get a rare letter. The letter "Z", and voila my search began in the back of the book. I found the name Zeresh and it was said to mean "star resplendent with beauty". As a collector of stars, that fit and it also sounded really kewl (cool), so I started using it.
It wasn't long before I found out that it was a male name as well as female, so I added the Lady part to it. It sure beated, being called Sir, Dude, or Bro, *looks down the front of her shirt* YEP STILL A WOMAN here!!!
I (we) have loved the stars too deeply. To be afraid of the dark. Astronomer's Epitaph -------------- GCID: LadyZeresh
Still need one more Rose and one more Gift to complete my set.

There's a little bit of story behind my gem-sending GCID, so I though Id share
My other GCID is EeveeInMoonlight. It was created by another player who I know for me, so I could send gems to myself. I didn't have any friends and really needed the gems.
First the name was EeveelutionsLuvr. Eevee is a Pokèmon and not to mention one of my favorites. It's pretty darn cute after all. Then I got around to thinking that EeveelutionsLuvr was kind of a dumb name. So I looked at my GC pic which had two Eeveelutions (you might have to look up; kind of hard to explain...) standing next to each other in the moonlight. EeveeInMoonlight. Sounded pretty cool...

As many of you already know my GCID is Snuffeldyret. I should probably have picked something more understandable..too late for that now..
Anyway.. Snuffeldyret is what we used to call our Bernese mountaindogs. The last one we had; Pluto is the GC avatar. A snuffeldyr is a large dog with a long fur. Big nosed, cute as suger, dumd as a bread and the best friend you'd ever get. Its not a word in the Norwegian dictionary, I made it up. So if you ever come across another forum with a user called snuffeldyret, or a blog, it's me!
Did any of you understand anything of this? If not sorry about my school english...probably should have paid more attention at school.. You probably are used to poorly written and spoken english from norwegians...if not google Petter Solberg and Torbjørn Jagland... It's not only only, but but..
So glad you posted your explanation. In my head it was always Snuffeldy and just ignored the ret part, lol. Have always had small dogs that tend to be hyperactive and would run in the opposite direction whenever called. Never have known what it was like to have a large dog, you make it sound very inviting.
Ok mine is pretty straight forward. My name is Suzie, I know shocker. So back in 10th grade my friends and I are trolling on AIM (when it was cool) and came across someone with the SN stuzie. Since then my nickname has been stuzie or stuz, the is for my birthday. This has been my go to name since I was 15. 13 years and you would think I would get more creative. (God sometimes I forget how old I am)
