I got my peridot breeding today, on my birthday no less  Looks like I missed the message about having to register, and wasn't officially added to the competition. My gem will still go to the winner though Cheers Happy Birthday! Nice! |

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Although I have to say I thought for sure you, justjennifer, and I would be tied threeways to split the gems. ;D I did also!! and roxorz Congrats on getting the peridot  Thanks much for the congratz. Tough battle as you know. I was kind of looking for us at the finish line together as well. Hang in there ladies! My successful parents were failures fed up high enough to breed. Silly teenagers don'tchaknow. I am looking forward to killing off the rest of the surplus Crystals and Cacti. I think I'll even sell off those failure display eggs that were depressing me . Maybe tomorrow...I'm tired! |

For no reason other than to get some sympathy, here are my results for Peridot breeding so far :
3 Cactii
5 Tree
5 Quake
8 Moss
9 Crystal
0 Peridot
I've thought about figuring out how many of each I would have by the end of August if it takes that long to get the P, but decided that might be too stressful & depressing. I so empathize now with those of you who have struggled to get previous dragons.

Been watching what I thought was my third bronze Olympus egg for the last 35 hours, imagine my surprise and pleasure when I got the announcement that my gold Olympus had hatched a few minutes ago.

Finally a peridot in the EBC! This one wasn't as hard as emerald for me (60 tries to get 1 including mulitples of rainbows, suns and moons has to be a record!!) but it was certainly much harder than ruby and pearl. Hopefully my next for egg display won't be as mich of a battle!!!

Had over 30 tries for the Peridot but no luck. Gradually feeling frustrated although there are still some 3 weeks to go. I have managed to get a pearl and a ruby (no emerald) and this one is really a difficult task for me - in terms of patience!

Since I've tried to take the credit for any that I sent a gem to that morning under the premise of it being my luck transferred to them, the credit is really ours as I added everyone to my friends list from the start of this thread & because it is your competition which is the impetus for my "lucky" gem donations.
