Also, sad to report I had to DQ some folks who have not been breeding Peridot in either cave. I really loath doing this and would rather not. I'm hoping that these are ppl who simply forgot they had signed up.
There are four unconfirmed participants who are yet to respond to my PM, three of whom are only using 1 cave for Peridot. I would rather not have to swing the DQ hammer again (and I don't mean "Dairy Queen"), but you have been given very fair warning.
Seems reasonable. ---guess you didn't like the reorganization I did for you yesterday. I'll consider that an official fail for me and am thus ineligible for any future attempts by you to pin assistant moderator on me (my time in the military taught me well never to volunteer, but also taught me how to find technicalities to make me ineligible for undesirable taskings)

Not at all, I thought your re-org of the list was brilliant. But it's easier for ppl to find the OP than it is to find yours (as yours is buried now), so I need to keep the OP accurate. Plus, I can't edit your post. Unless I missed something from your list in mine? I'll go take a look make sure I didn't undo any of your work.

Edit: Checked your list and I'm pretty sure the OP is accurate!! This is good. I would hate to confuse people even more. And I'm thinking now that you might have meant that I didn't like how you separated the list into two sections. I do like that, but it's a lot more work, especially since I edit the OP often.

Nope you didn't, but you could have selected "quote" and then copied the re-grouping and then pasted it your original post, replacing the previous list. My goal was to make it easier to see who was still in the running, but keep all of your data the same. Regardless, no worries. (and don't think I was offended either. I was merely taking the opportunity to build my shield against your insinuated future tasking )

No... I'm not bitter. I've lost track of how many eggs I've bred that aren't Peridots and I try not to think about it because it's awfully depressing especially when you have an evil woman like debstoy showing you hers and then bragging that she got your little sister one.

The I HATE THE PERIDOT DRAGON COMPETITION is a race to be the last person to breed the Peridot Dragon (the gem dragon for August). The loser (the last person in the race) to get the Peridot dragon receives a gem from all the participants; a meagre reward for the pain of being last.

Wow! Congrats to all of you who have the Peridot! I didn't realize there were so many, & really, it's still early in the month. (I have to keep telling myself this) My daughter tried constantly through the month of July to get the Emerald with no luck, til the last day or two. So our luck could still change. "Keep calm and carry on!"
I have not kept track of my fails, it's just too depressing! ...... The good news is I'm less than 15 gems from upgrading my EBC Maybe that will make a change in luck for me.
DQ Hammer is the only thing of any substance I picked up from this whole conversation. Where can I get one, and does it really work by hitting people over the head with it, and can I really get an M&M Blizzard if I hit you on the head with the DQ Hammer? Please write back.

Congrats on the peridot. Seems I still have some koala gems left after all. I'll push you down my list and pick another of those still hunting their first peridot. Who knows, maybe mike will make it back on the list (since his son killed his peridot) if we get a few more lucky breeders
