Hey c0urage? Could you send me a gem imbued with koala? Since my son hatched my only Peridot on a pedestal, I've had nothing but failures. I've been using the Roxor method of putting all my failures on pedestals, since Aug 5, and have 36 eggs for my efforts.
As you can see, I had already re-added you back to my list before you posted this. While you may be ineligible to win this competition, you definitely need a little luck and a new peridot based on that misfortune. Bottom line: I got you covered

Does having the epic breeding island help to increase my chances at getting a peridot? Should I try to breed him there?
I'm currently breeding a cactus and crystal in the breeding cave. 4 straight failures.

Indeed, the island has just a little bit more magic, making it a little bit easier to breed rarer dragons. For Peridot, for example, the cave is around 3-4% whereas the island is around 7-8%.
The other important plus to getting the island is to have two breeding places.

Statistically the island may have more magic, but all my gems have come from the cave. (for the others I bred in both areas till I got one)

Welcome copterman nice to see you joining the forum. I had a lot of fails and most of them crystals ugh before I got my peridot and I did get it on the island.

It's a bit bittersweet being so close to winning, er losing? But with as generous as everyone has been with the gems I was able to upgrade my island! And as generous as BFS was with the crystals, I was able to get my lightning shrine silver and I'm only 4 away from both my earth and plant shrines!
