Now wishing I hadn't sold my extra Cactii & Crystals, just in case changing the parents might actually work. Hope you get a second one ( if you want one) quickly!

Congrats Jen. Way to go girlfriend. I know what you mean about bittersweet and I didn't get as close as you. But how refreshing it was to breed for something that didn't have crystal as a fail. Lol. I was sooooooo tired of getting those.

koala! I hope you win cuz that would mean I have a peridot! I have a crystal in one cave and a tree in the other! I've gone so far as to have my kids take turns picking how to pair up my crystals and cacti, thinking maybe it was me. Now I think my dragons are just peridot-challenged!

It is with a mixture of relief and disappointment, I must concede the victory (loss?) to lost girl. I put cactus & crystal back in one cave, 24 hrs. Put the other pair back into the island cave-- didn't register for a minute--31 hrs!

So it's all about lost girl now...
How about we all send her a gem daily until she succeeds? That's what I'll be doing regardless (plus sending one to myke for his honorable mention as his peridot was a dud and failed to hatch, least he'll always have the egg to show off)
I knew she would win. Too bad nobody took me up on the bet. I send lostgirl a gem every day. Wondering if the fact she's my daughter has something to do with it. Nawwwww she's an awesome girl. But don't tell her I said so.

The I HATE THE PERIDOT DRAGON COMPETITION is a race to be the last person to breed the Peridot Dragon (the gem dragon for August). The loser (the last person in the race) to get the Peridot dragon receives a gem from all the participants; a meagre reward for the pain of being last.
