I am so completely hooked on Gizmonauts. Doesn't take a thing away from my dragon love, but just saying. Thanks for all these great posts so I know what to look for. Level 13 and only need Mole and Astro! (Until the Science bots become available, of course.)

I agree it's a cute little game. The bots dont quite have the same personalities as our beloved dragons, they always are in my heart.
I need some help with the arena really badly because I am terrible at it! I keep getting destroyed. This match, I had as my bots: Performer, Repair (I read on wiki that performer was strong vs. mining... ja, right! v. Mole, Welder All bots were level 10. They killed my main bot in a couple of hits.
In the past, I had a builder v. performer that could not get in a proper hit (all glancing). So, Builder seems very weak to performer I suppose. Do we have an idea of strengths and weaknesses at all yet?

I haven't lost yet. I'm doing the strategy someone posted quite a while back about the main bot with melee or charge skills and the secondary bot as a ranged bot. As in a longer reach. I was using my Franken with the brains melee +++ and harvester until I brought them up to 100%. Now I'm using Mole with the attachment...grater or grinder, the one that added + points for damage and backup of my Welder with the flame thrower. I can also throw in the caterpillar with the stinger as a backup. Also, the higher level the bot I use 10+, the more damage they do. I've only won one gizmo from it, but I'm not losing battles so I'm probably not doing the best you can do, but it seems to be working.

Thanks Maidy, have those prepped and ready to upload. We will have an updated chart later today. Still looking for: Still need: Aloe - pretty flower Aloe - Ice Plant Bouncer - Defibrillator Grinder - Saw Safety - Fly Swatter Trainer - Clown Shoes
Hi all, this hasn't won my heart like dragonvale, with its beautiful dragons. Nevertheless I was enjoying setting up my station station until I came up with two issues that bother me. On DV, we don't need to spend gems to breed our dragons. On GN, if we want to equip robots, we have to spend gems and prices are high considering we Conan only give about 3 per day if using excellent strategies proposed in p.1. And this is linked to second issue. This game would have great appeal to children. They don't have the money to spend heaps on crystals, nor should they. And the gladiatorial competitions bring a violent aspect to this game that sits uncomfortably with me. To paraphrase Joaquim Phoenix on the Oscars: to pit people against each is just plain crazy.
Kim i understand your reluctance re the battles in this game, when I saw the first one I was quite shocked at the violence. On the other side, when I see what kids are playing, those games figure "people" avatars and they are sometimes extremely brutal. Similarly, if you look at cartoons, they are full if very hard scenes, hitting, falling, splashing in earth etc. Fairy tales are not harmless either and most of them are in fact quite terrifying. Shrinks say it helps kids to deal with their fears ...
