I saw a mention of two of this, but wondered if we should start a separate thread purely for battle match-ups? What is strong and weak against various types for instance. Basically, I get my butt handed to me every few battles (maybe more like I pull and upset every few), and want to shift this issue. I'm sure others have the same thoughts. The wiki seems inaccurate at best via all reports, and the sandbox still doesn't really work correctly - just see our own community astro successes for an explanation fo that. So why not start tabulating our data purely for battling strengths and weaknesses in a new easily identified/found thread? Feel free to kick me now
Liquid good idea, so here my experience, am lvl 17, have won every battle since I think level 15. Oponents are allways caterpilar and laser bot with laser canon. I allways use as main bot Grinder lvl 15 (but lower level ok) with red disk gizmo. As second bot i now use any bot level 12 equipped with a 25 crystal gizmo for speed, range, pierce, melee or else. Works great.
Moved the chart and Battle Arena info to its' own new thread. The second post has been reserved for the info that we gather from the posts that will follow. If you posted arena wins/losses in this thread, or elsewhere, let's try to gather it in once place - the new thread. dragonvale-tips.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gzgeneral&action=display&thread=352

Use Grinder with red disc as lead bot and you are almost guaranteed to win no matter what your support bot is. It's pretty much that simple.
And every time you win you will find yourself up against a prescribed combo next time. Keep winning and you will always be against that combo. It changes according to your level. Level 14 will be Caterpillar + Carrier. Level 16 is Caterpillar + Laser. Seems Level 17 is as well. Maybe that's the pair from the point the Science bot is released.
Maybe this is obvious for everybody, but i just noticed that although the gizmos are valid for all bots of the same kind, the % boosts are individual, applying just on the bot involved in the battle.

Can someone shed some light on what the max level is the bots? Unlike DV, there doesn't appear to be an interim ceiling on leveling bots. I've only got one bot up to level 13, but will continue to progressively level the bot until I reach a ceiling.

1 to 4 is baby. 5 to 8 is Juvenile. Max at 15.
For the moment ...

Are there any other DV-esque features such as shrines, gem trees or higher quantity food making stations at higher levels?
If this material is covered off elsewhere, then apologies and will go and read it there.
It's cool, dude. We're still in the process of getting it all together in this thread. Snax Shops become available at Level 15 to allow the big food production to begin. No shrine or gem tree equivalents yet.

I do like that there is no pressure in this game to keep buying decorations or redecorating to increase the amount of visitors and thus speeding up your earnings per station like they have in DV.

You know there is no correlation between amount of visitors and earnings in your DV habitats, right?

Really? Okay, now I'm laughing at myself!! All this time I thought the more visitors, the faster the habitats would reach their monetary gain. . LOL! I'm so glad you told me that.

Wouldnt that be nice? Lol Nothing to be ashamed of Maidy, I first thought something along those lines

Really? Lets us hear a few if these tales.
The 3 Most Memorable are:
1) They happened at the same time. I was doing my first redecoration of my park and I CLEARLY said that the park was close. But nooooooooo, they just HAD to stay and have tiles torn up at their feet. Stupid visitors.
2) I bought a Volcano. I saw (and even have a pic of) a Princess person climbing it!!! Sheesh, are royal wizards THAT brainless?? Geeze. Stupid visitor.
3) I stared and watched tons of wizards walk in and out of one of my Large Cold Habitats!! I seriously yelled "They are gonna freaking EAT you!!!!" what is WRONG with these people?? Stupid visitors.

Back on topic, can someone edit the Builder Bot trick into the Bonus Goals section of the OP?
* The Bot bonus goal looks first for a bot that is missing from your park, so if you sell off all of your Builder bots that goal can be completed in 10 seconds each time it comes up. Wait for the goal, buy a new Builder, deploy it, sell it, then wait for the goal to return.
* The Building bonus goal looks for an available zone to build or upgrade, then a service, then a missing decoration, then any decoration. You should build the new zone you want as soon as you level, before it gives you a goal for a different one. Services are instant, so you are usually better off waiting for the goal to build those. Finally, if you sell off all copies of one or more cheap decorations while keeping at least one of each expensive one, you'll be able to complete the building goal each time it comes up without any robux worries.

Nicely written. Added. Thank you!
Although I'm quoting this particular post, I really want to thank all who are being so generous with their time & knowledge to help the rest of us. All these bits are really helping to make the game much more understandable & fun. Thank you, thank you!

Yeah, thanks very much, Darian. It was on my list of things to do, but it's a pretty big list. As MM said above, thanks so much to everyone for helping compile everything we know about the game so far.
