Pictured here the new Malachite (the bright green one) and Pollen mother dragons watch their children frolic in the new habitat the game keepers have constructed. Essentially a miniature forest, the game keepers also installed some metal shards to help the Malachite dragons feel at home.
Hi guys, Im having trouble posting pictures and I think it's due to the attachments' maximum size. Need help please, thanks
Have you tried resizing down to see if it helps? Need a little more info from you to try to be more helpful. Let us know what you have done so far and we'll go from there.
I take a screenshot from my ipad and email it to my laptop which I go on to download and is saved under download. Heres an example of the file: C:\Users\asus\Downloads\photo.PNG. I click on post reply and 'Post Reply'; 'Preview'; 'Spell Check' & 'Reset' are greyed out. I am then directed to the Dragonvale Community homepage. The file size is 5.59 MB (5,869,561 bytes). Appreciate the help

You can't post an image to ProBoards directly from your laptop, the image must be hosted on an Internet photo sharing site like Photobucket, then shared here.
There is also a ProBoards app that costs a couple of bucks that allows you to post images taken with your iPad directly to the board. That is another option available to you. www.proboards.com/iphone-mobile-forum-app
Sigh, I have taken to a huge remodelling project of my islands, even though I loved my previous islands with their backstory.
Well, now there shall be a city, surrounded by 4 islands housing 2 elements and a rare dragon island. I shall decorate each island according to the elements of course, and add both the statues and all the display eggs of the primary element there. Furthermore each island will house each dragon of that primary element in baby form.
This makes you remember how tedious redecorating is... and that you can't get that sodding mushroom you can CLEARLY see from behind the natural tree without cutting it down -.-

Awesome sir. I cannot wait to see what you come up with. The Treasure Habitat, after it's had a bit of time in the Feature Position is going to need a place to go, so I'm thinking a redecorate is on my horizon as well. Might wait until BFS introduces something big, new and exciting that will require it.

Once upon a time, there was this stupid guy named Tommy B. Tommy B was super bored one day, which seemed to happen quite often, and so he decided to go on a trip.

Fabulous Tommy! You should seriously consider a writing career!

Naught occurs by chance. And, yet, everything occurs by chance. It all depends upon your viewpoint.
Envision the proverbial and hackneyed pond, if you will. Drop into this pond a pebble. Ripples. Drop into it, at any other point, another pebble. The ripples cross each other in predictable patterns. Predictable. Yet, continue. Drop in double handfuls of sand at various places. Unpredictable ripples, to a man. Predictable only by a god. Chance, and yet predilection. Viewpoint.
Think on that.

"ROAR! RAWR! Erm, ROOOOAR!"
"Yer dumb."
"Stop it. I'm really trying to get this second darned Ruby to show up, but my stupid Chrome Dragon isn't interested in Mr. Scorch at all. And the only way to get her in the mood is to roar at her, obviously." I sighed. "But it's not working. Obviously."
"Obviously. Well, boss, other parks seem to be getting multiple Rubies. Why don't you go steal, I mean ask for advice from your friends?"
"That's the problem; I don't have any friends. Least, that's what my mom always said, that I'd never have any friends cuz I'm dumb."
"Okay, acquaintances. Go see what other park wizards are doing. You might learn something."
I nodded. "You're right. It's time for a trip." I nodded. Or, well, again. Anyhow, yeah. Yeah, time for a trip. I got up from my creaky wooden chair, leaning on the old oaken table, which creaked, and got my creaky bones going. Some odds and ends in the knapsack, my trusty oaken staff, and I was ready. Er, except for my clothes. Everyone knows wizards wear spiffy wizard robes, but I magicked mine into a pair of jeans, because I didn't want park visitors pointing and laughing at the old man in a dress. "If I'm not back in time," I said as I headed for the door, "don't forget to -"
"- turn off the Firefly Dragon's butt at bed time, yes, I know. It keeps the other Fire dragons awake."
"Yes, thank you." Good help is hard to find. Well, off I went.
It was a kinda muggy day, but that's okay; it was July after all. Hadn't been a bad summer thus far, so who'm I to complain? Besides, it's not like anyone can magically control the weather or anything. Off down the path. Some folks have asked me, and it's been in the Suggestions Box at the park more than once, why I don't swap out the rugged riverstone paths on my Forest Island for smoother marble or some such. Truth is, other than being lazy, I really prefer them. They're homey, I dunno. Somehow it's nice to feel those rounded old stones beneath my boots, with the dirt and grass between and the breeze flowing through summer branches thick with leaves. It just fits. I wrinkled my nose as a bee buzzed by my head. I'm not allergic, but I hate bee stings.
I passed by my sadly empty hatchery (okay, not empty, just empty of What I Want: Ruby eggs) and shook my head. Really hoped I'd figure out something that would help me breed that second Ruby Dragon on this trip. Sigh. Mellissa, my little Love Dragon, winked at me, which is what Love Dragons do, and that cheered me up. I hitched up my jeans and headed off. It's always nice to walk down this path, through this park, because it's comfy and homey and relaxing. A slower pace, one could say. I made my way down the path, around corners and beneath the trees, and came to Sham-Rock Henge, feeling the hum of magic that emanated from this unique Warp-In. In my head, I went over the spell I'd need in order to get to my frie- acquaintance Ivanabot's park. That darned bee was buzzing around my head, though, and it was hard to concentrate. If I got even one syllable of my spell wrong, strange things could happen. Well. Bag on my back, staff in hand, I began the incantation, stepped on the magic stones, and - *bbzzzzz* "Ouch!" *zhzhzhzh* ... disappeared ...

The morning dawned, as mornings are wont to do, clear and bright, with a pall of ruddy light capturing all in a surrealistic glow. A wind blew, as winds are apt to do, across the land, swaying the boughs of towering pines and squatting maples, rearing oaks and columnar elms. The air was chill, the grass wet with dew, but the first few rays of that crimson glow promised warmth. Cross their hearts and hope to die.
These first few moments of the day found, after a great deal of frantic searching, a pair of men already up and astride their horses, traveling in a generally southerly direction. The two rode in silence, savoring the sounds and the sights and the smells of the early portion of the day: the soft whickering of their mounts, the chirping of various birds and insects, the dew evaporating in the daylight’s heat, the aforementioned branches swaying. They had awakened before dawn, sometime during the false dawn which paints the sky blue shades of slate, or grey hues of azure, wrapped themselves in their riding cloaks, taken a cold meal of prepackaged condiments, and mounted for the day’s ride.
Their destination? They knew not nor cared where. These were traveling men, men of adventure, brothers of the blood and of the spirit, the sort to search out life rather than to allow life to find them, and so forth and so on. Intrepid spirits bore these two onwards in the face of storm and foe alike. One carried along a map, which told the two, in a very silly, high-pitched voice, that there was a small town not far to the south, perhaps most of a day’s ride away, and it was to this town that the twain fared, in search of what might lay therein. They knew not nor cared where the map was leading; they only knew it was important. Yup.
As they rode, one, the elder of the two, a dark-haired, stout man sporting a profusion of hair not restricted to the head or the face, brought forth from an oiled leather satchel a lute of fine ash. Or perhaps it was a fine lute made of ash. Regardless, the twain rode on, the darker, shorter, elder in the lead and the taller, lighter, younger brother slightly behind, the first practicing his lute and the latter practicing his ass.
The chirping sounds of the morning birds were joined by sour notes and off-key chords, the twangs and strummings of an inexperienced artist, and the elder brother lifted his voice now and again to croak out lyrics ...
“Oh, maiden fair, won’t you ... won’t you ... let down your hair?”
twang-twing ... cloomb ... twingitty ...
“Oh, maiden bright, won’t you ... uh, won’t you turn on ... a light?”
twing-twing-twang ... trummm ... tangitty ...
“Oh, maiden ... um, close ... won’t you take off your -”
“Haw-HEE! Haw-HEE!”
“Oh, maiden, come ... won’t you, uh, show me your ... uh ...”
Onward, the two pressed, as the sun climbed high into the baby blue, coloring the air about them, everywhere that they went, with the sounds of joviality and jocundity and joy and ... and stuff. They each practiced their arts, hoping to exchange the entertainment therein for a replenishing of prepackaged condiments and a soft bed for the night. Two beds. The twain had done so many times in the past, bringing their audiences many times to tears, in fact, for which the tavernman or innkeeper had payed them a hearty wage of leftovers and a stable loft, or some such.
“Oh, maiden pretty ... can I touch -”
"HAW-hee!”

Out, far away, in the vast reaches of space, in that black void which is not a perfect void due to lots of very spread-out bits of matter but still pretty darned good as far as near-voids go, an object moved. Well, it had been moving already, but the very fine balance which had kept it moving within a rather small area was upset. Not, like, irritated upset, you know. A tiny gravitational tug pulled upon this rather large item, causing only a barely-detectable aberration. But such things do grow ...

*Zhzhzhzh* ... and reappeared. "Whoah. Okay, this definitely wasn't Ivanabot's park." I looked around some more. "This definitely isn't a dragon park at all."
I took stock. "Ground, okay. No clouds around me, so definitely not on a floating island. My iPad doesn't have a GPS, so that's no help. Temperate terrain, so not in a desert or mountain or tundra or anything. Hmm." I looked around, trying to find anything recognizable. I mean, there were lots of stuff I recognized, like grass and trees and some hills and stuff, but no landmarks I could identify.
One problem that I'd always faced was a lack of innate ability to transport myself. It was really the result of my own laziness, I knew, because in Cool Kid School I'd skipped that class. I figured there'd always be Warp-In Points, or some such similar talisman to help. I knew the spells great, but without some sort of magical accoutrement I was just plain stuck. Checked my cellphone, but here was the weird thing: it was dead. Not even low battery - it simply would not work. It should have. But didn't. Weird. And bad, too, because normally I woulda just called the park and had them send an airship to come pick me up. "So, lost then. Welp, nothing for it but to start walking, see where I've ended up. I hate bees."
I hitched up my jeans and, walking stick in hand, headed off ... "North. Yeah. North. Sun on my right, here we go."
At least it was a nice day. Definitely summer here where I'd ended up, blue skies and some fluffy white clouds breezing by. The sun wasn't too hot on me, and my broad-brimmed wizard's hat kept it out of my face and off my neck. I passed through rolling fields of deep waving grasses, sparrows and an occasional hawk calling out and flitting about. Wooded portions, with thrushes and chipmunks chattering at me. An occasional brook, or a small hill to climb or circumscribe. Really, a nice hike. Always, I was on the lookout for signs of civilization: a city, a highway, a town, anything. I really wanted to visit Ivanabot's park, because I really wanted that second Ruby Dragon. Had to find a way to get home!
