Check your spam folder to see if the email about Sakura appears. 2) Your Forum Account settings. Check your settings to see if you have enabled the forum to send you emails. Some members elect to disable forum emailing. By default, I believe this feature is disabled.

It's not so. I was up all night anxiously waiting, and checking your email while working on my tax return.
1. Did check Junk mail box. 2. Will check again, now, but dont believe so. The last email was from Pixie, and I got it. Come to think of it...I mainly have prob. when you sent email, last time was about forum update, and now this...hhhmmm

2. I have selected to receive email notification from all staff members. I am not missing out on anything, was just thinking about others that dont log on the forum frequently.
Sorry you didn't get it. 1. because you should be receiving them as a perk. 2. because it was so entertaining.
The forum email system can be hit and miss. Usually it is more an issue of not going out at all rather than not everyone getting the email. It does happen. With my email inbox sometimes the email from the forum goes right where it is supposed to, other times it is found in my trash. With mine there is an option to add the sender to my VIP list and that has helped. Found that option by tapping on the sender's name in one of the emails.
I am thinking maybe we ask robotron to update the his link to reflect the link of DV Comm's website?

I can't see that it matters. The purpose of the website is to direct people to the forum. If the sandbox is doing that anyway, it just saves the hunter a click or two. And so is more likely to actually get here.
I don't understand why we even need the website. I assume it has something to do with the way search engines work. But that kind of arcane knowledge is beyond me. Still I am glad some one appreciates the work put in.

Agreed! If you ever need a quick list of epics, opposites, or limiteds just drop by. You get breed times, combos, and suggested combos! It's also in an easier to read format. Thanks for tackling that beast EX.
If you found an answer to a member's question way after his/her post and look for that post by entering subject matter or anything else s/he said + member's ID, search just seems to freeze.

What version of internet browser are you using?
I'm using the most updated Chrome (apparently version 34!?) and the search will run... but I must say the search engine doesn't seem very powerful! I tried searching on Pixie's posts and it only brought up a few... I know for sure she's made more than 3! It may be your browser, but it may be that the search function just isn't up to scratch.

I , too, had problems with the search function. 1) For example I gave in "char" as search for any words and no additional selection criteria The result are only 11 posts. That can't be true. 2) When you get a result (even a false) and use the "back to last page" you can only edit the fields you have put data in before, plus the search button can't be activated. (It's greyed out)
The search function never worked well even before the proboards update. I used it a lot during the one year forum competition. But it worked quite better than now. In the old times the results only were cut to a specific date. For example from pixies 1000 post 700 were listed, and it were the 700 newest posts. But even after the forum update it worked quite well. I remember using the search from date to date selection ( which didn't exist before). And I think I got an appropriate result.
But today the results all were false ( or at least insufficient).
What works well however is the function "recent posts" in the user profiles. But you can't filter for a specific phrase or word there.

I entered 'hats' (I was looking for party hats) and no results. Nothing for 'party' either.
Then I clicked the magnifying glass and got a pop-up. I entered the ID of the poster I wanted to respond to, then entered 'hats' again. The computer froze.
I closed the browser and opened it again. Clicked for the same menu and tried to enter 'party'. The computer froze again.
I closed the browser and opened it again. Clicked for the same menu and tried (in HTML) '"party hats"'. The browser just went white. I couldn't even click anymore.
Etc., etc. (I tried several variations of the process). The browser just freezes over.
I'm wondering if I should try with Chrome or Firefox, but I never configured those. So they don't have the favorites I regularly browse, or my starting page.
