I'm pleased to announce that we have a new moderator. Viviane, who lives in Switzerland, has agreed to take on the role. We needed someone in the European time zone and Viviane is a perfect fit. She has many years experience in this sort of thing, having served as sysop on Microsoft's MSN chats. Plus she and I have become friends through this forum.

Unfortunately you will need to upload your photo via the website by modifying your profile. Did you forget your password, as I am sure Poppy could retrieve it.

Thanks Vicky, Shirley, Shellee and all! It started fantastically as i changed my email addy in my profile and 20 min later still had not received the forum activation key lol. Re did the asking and now all ok. So beware, if you change your email addy you will have to re-register and get a new activation key. One learns by trials and failures lol

Hey all, a small question, not sure if it's been discussed.
Do you think we should use the calender on the forum to display updates, new dragons, limited edition events running etc? Not only could it be useful for the present time, but it could be nice to be able to go back in time and see at which dates updates were pushed through and what they included.

I've gone ahead and unlocked the Top Tips thread so you're able to post there now. We do want to keep it on topic so please help with that. it would be nice to get your input on what we've posted there as to whether you find it useful or not. We're striving for practical tips that can be used on the ground, not arcane trivial.

Poppy? or anyone? I'm trying to add an avatar pic in "modify profile", and every time I put a URL where I have a pic to use into the Avatar URL field, then scroll to the bottom and click the Modify Profile button, the URL disappears and no avatar is included.
Gurukarm where is your picture hosted ? On photobucket or similar?
No, its in an Amazon cloud space, but I could move it to Flickr if a cloud URL isn't good. I don't have a photobucket acct...

I have no idea if a cloud url is ok to use or not. If you copy and paste the url to the photo into the blank space under your modify profile and it does not work then I would assume you will need to host your photo on photobucket or similar. If you need me to I can put it on my photobucket and give you the url to put in your profile. Just let me know. *thumbs up*
