NOTE: the Olympus House dragons don’t necessarily carry the two House traits. But they are associated with the Houses, that’s why they’re currently in the event market for this event.
This is so cool! Thanks for putting all the house dragons together and I like the ships or houseboats lol. I’ll keep a copy and add to it when there’s more house dragons. My fave emojis are hidden bolt and iron blossom 😂
I don’t get the Olympus dragons either. I looked up Herald and you’re right it doesn’t even have fire or air so why is it a blazing Gale dragon. It does seem totally random like they weren’t thinking about the houses. It’d be interesting to know the logic of why they put the Olympus dragons with the houses b/c they seem unrelated.

I would like to add my hearty thanks and complete agreement. When I left DragonVale, I didn’t think about the game that much. I often thought of the friends I had made on the forum. Without the many tips, I would have been so lost when I came back that I would have become discouraged and left again. So, a huge ‘THANK YOU!’ To all the wonderful staff as well as the many helpful forum members who take the time to help others out. It is a pleasure to be part of this group.

Don’t know if the Yolkwing glitch has been addressed. I bred Yolkwing a couple days ago, and it was still selling at the incorrect amount. If anyone breeds Yolkie the Dragon Chicken, and it’s not fixed, please let me know and I’ll continue to press Deca, as this will be a much bigger issue with Yolkwing’s new status.

Also, Pouke has been updated to sell it's egg for 2,200,000. I don't know if that was something we were expecting?

Not very recently. I have a pre-renovation pic of my Vale from sept 19 and it looks the same there.

For the first time I’ve been able to complete two towers of Eggy Hatchy. Either I got very lucky, or I feel like Deca made it just a bit easier with less egg requirements. Right now, I’m stuck at camp blushroom level 5. If I can get that one, then this will be the first time I’ve compleated all three.

So I used the first Gargantuan Island as my Pedestal Island. It holds all they hybrids and their twins in a big grid, surrounded by spirals of the limiteds and their twins, based on their first element/pedestal. Gemstones at the top right.
Now I have no interest in collecting Rifted versions of the eggs, but I was going to use the 2nd Gargantuan Island to recreate this for the Ghostlies. But apparently, that's not happening. So I need ideas.
What have you done with your Gargantuan Islands? Bonus points for pictures.
In my Enchanted Breeding Cave (the upgraded normal one) I breed Harmony + rifted Harmony because I want a second non-rifted. This resulted in an Ornamental dragon (specific dragon, not only ornamental type). Did they change the rules ? I was told that the ornamental house dragons wouldn't contribute the ornamental element. So how is this possible? The sandbox also doesn't show the Ornamental dragon as possible result, even when I check BEB.

I haven't bought the Gargantuan Islands yet because I don't think the rectangular form fits with the other round islands. But I haven't run out of free place yet. Maybe if I need free place, then I will overthink this

Fletch, yes, this was expected. I bred Yolkwing on Thursday and it was still selling at the incorrect amount. Notified Deca again, and on Friday they said Yolkwing will be fixed in the next data deploy. Will do a proper announcement soon.
The Pouke dragon is a different error. The problem with Yolkwing (also Chitin and Chimneypuff) is a zero was left off their selling amounts pre-hatching (BFS fixed Chitin and Chimneypuff). Selling after hatching provided the correct amount. Since players always sell unwanted dragons before hatching they were losing a lot of DC. Pouke didn’t have this selling discrepancy; the amount was changed from 500,000 to 2,200,000. Thanks for the update!

PSA: Yolkwing has finally been fixed and can be sold for its full amount after breeding.
First reported this error to Backflip in December 2019. Of course, Backflip never had a chance to fixing it because they were closing up shop. So Yolkie has had a long wait, but at last he is finally not shortchanging players anymore. Thank you, Deca Games!
BUG REPORT: if you breed Yolkwing in the Rift and do not want it, hatch first before selling to receive the correct amount of DC.
Bring ‘Em Back has brought back Yolkwing’s selling price discrepancy. If you sell Yolkie before hatching, you’ll only earn 250,000 DC. But if you hatch first, then sell, you’ll receive the full 2,500,000 DC.
This is an old bug from the days of Backflip. I reported it during the last BEB, but they didn’t have a chance to fix it. Deca has been notified.
Yolkwing is a possible fail in the Rift while trying for any dragon if at least one breeding parent has a fire trait.
Also, Pearlescent, which was accidentally marked as limited during BEB, will be corrected, so it shall be permanently breedable once again.

The Gemstone Island was redesigning in March 2018. Some players didn’t care for it; they thought it was too bright. But overall it was well-received.

Yes, it is a strange outcome! It was noted during Jolly Jubilee. Whenever you breed with the House ornamental dragons, you have a chance of breeding Ornamental and Dazzling. The sandbox added Dazzling, but not Ornamental.
This may be a dumb question but I'll ask anyway. Can you breed one of the new dragons, with one parent in the RBC? I just bred Harmony and Ghostly Plant and got the Ornamental dragon, which isn't an outcome according to the Sandbox.
This is absolutely NOT a dumb question. It is the opposite, a brilliant observation in an informative post loaded with new facts to enlighten us all.
You should be able to clone a new house ornamental dragon in the Runic Breeding Caves. To replicate your results, I bred Harmony + Iron Blossom in a Runic Cave, and lo and behold, out came an Ornamental dragon (with no fire or cold present). I’ll continue breeding this pair to see if more ornamentals show up.
I also bred Dazzling in the co-op while trying to clone Venture (Blazing Gale + Venture), even though Dazzling’s plant, earth, and cold elements are missing from the breeding pair.

Apologies for the mistake, but I must have read the timer wrong because it turned out to be a Dazzling dragon. Which stinks because I already have one.
One the bright side, I have successfully managed to breed Krampus, Kringle and Woolen, three that were missing from my collection. I also purchased Saccharine with a wish and now my winter island is filling up nicely.

Interestingly, when breeding with a new house ornamental, the only ornamental dragons anyone has reported receiving are Ornamental and Dazzling (and of course ornamentals that are the parents). Has anybody bred with a house ornamental and received an ornamental fail other than Dazzling or Ornamental?
It appears, for some peculiar reason, when breeding with a House ornamental, not all ornamental dragons are outcomes, only Ornamental and Dazzling (and the obligatory parent ornamental).
I can bring this up to Deca if enough players feel it’s an issue. It likely won’t be a priority, so I don’t think it’ll be fixed anytime soon.

So my second Gargantuan island became my DragonCash generator. I put all the boosts on it (except one cause the habitats didn’t fit) since they no longer negatively affect one another. Then I put all my elemental habitats there to maximize their DragonCash. However, with all these epic/elemental hybrids coming out, the elemental habitats are shifting away to other islands (they earn less anyway) in favor of higher earning habitats like hidden, ornamental, harmonious, meridian, seasonal, etc.

I'm not particularly techie, but have had to find this out when I upgraded my old iPad as well. I can't believe that Apple can't tell you what RAM the iPad has - what kind of support is that? Their official site doesn't tell you either.
There is a Wiki page which shows all the various Apple products and their specifications. You will need to scroll past the iPad, iPad Mini, iPad Air specs first to get the the iPad Pro details Wiki Apple Specs
