I don't know for sure if Moon + Moonstruck will work, but Blue Moon + Moonstruck ( or Lunar Eclipse/Solar Eclipse/Equinox + Moonstruck) wil work because it's an epic limited.
Moon + Moostruck will work. They changed the rules when the released DV2.0
I am posting to let everyone know that as of today I'm cutting ties with the game. My first gen iPad can't keep up, and I've already missed a lot since I haven't been able to get into my park in over a month. I don't have a Twitter account configured on my iPad. When I make a goal, I'll tap on the Tweet to share icon and it will pause, then send up a 'no Twitter accounts available' message. I OK out and Backflip will still send me an extra gem for sharing. I don't annoy my friends, but I do still get an extra gem.

I've tried this several times. It doesn't work for me. The twitter version does though. Or is it the other way round? Whatever. The top one works for me. But the bottom one doesn't. I have neither type of account set up.

I've been having this problem with my extra Facebook gem for the last couple of months or so. very frustrating however due to hoarding and the number of "free" gems on release of DV 2.0 I haven't been really desperate for them and out it down to "life, the university and everything!"
I think I had the longest/worst fails I have ever had when trying for this dragon. 3 seasonal, 2 rainbow, 1 double rainbow... No wonder all my gems are gone.

I'm officially without Moonstruck. I had managed to avoid all the long fails, but didn't say anything - didn't want to jinx myself. Last night did an isle breed before bed - 48 hr fail. This morning did a cave breed - another 48 hours. Not enough gems to speed those babies up, especially with an already full hatchery of 7 - 9 hour fails. I guess it's back to saving gems - spent a bit over 100 on speed-ups.

Sorry to hear that bansidh. Moonstruck is rare and is this case the dragon, itself, is not an exception. March is very hectic...accumulate and save as much gems as you can.
So, did patient pay off? or your gems bank was depleted somewhat?
