To those with a Sunstruck, have any of you tried breeding it with another Sun/Moon element dragon? According to the sandbox, you have a slightly higher chance of breeding one instead of the usual Mirage+Heat. I'm debating whether I should try Sunstruck+Moonstruck. Even though it has a longer average fail time, there's a chance of getting <8hr fails. Maybe I'll try this combo on the island and Mirage+Heat on the cave since I only have one Mirage. It might not be worth it, but I think I'll give it a try anyways. Who knows, maybe I'll get that Dream egg I need in the process.
You can easily make a DV t-shirt yourself (you need a color inkjet though)
Buy a t-shirt and wash it Create a picture on your PC with the DV characters, you can get the pictures out of the wiki Buy a foil that you can print on and which can be fused on the t-shirt Print the picture Fuse it on the t-shirt And voila
I've done this for my daughter with pictures of her guinea pig. The foil sticks well to the shirt, even after several turns of washing.

They would probably stage an intervention for you. "I don't have a problem I swear! I can quit any time I want. I just don't want to..."

Sigh. I have a feeling I'm going to miss out on Sunstruck. I'm still trying to get a Peridot before it expires, and the koalas are scarce. I also will still need to breed a mirage before I can even try, and have had no luck with that either. With less than a day to try, both sites are busy with cactus and crystal... Who clearly are not "getting busy"
bansidh, I hope your dragons "get busy" and come through for you. I don't have any Pixie dust or any other special magic, but I'm sending encouragement your way.
I will probably buy all of them if they become available and the price is reasonable. Figurines can be expensive though. Magnets can be cheaper than figurines. However, I would like to have a DragonVale t-shirt first.

Wouldn't you violate their copyrights though? Say if you make a T-shirt out of one of the islands. Except from the obvious, I know very little about copyrights, trademarks...etc.

Wouldn't you violate their copyrights though? Say if you make a T-shirt out of one of the islands. Except from the obvious, I know very little about copyrights, trademarks...etc.
As long as you aren't selling it. If creating fan art was a violation to their copyright, then I would already be in heaps of trouble

Since I know very little about the subject, and I would not feel comfortable about wearing DV t-shirt. I just need to find out more, for my sake. We touched on this subject couple times before, it has never sat right w/ me.

Copyright law varies slightly from country to country. And yes Ex is technically in breach of copyright in most if not all jurisdictions, as is this entire forum. Unless Poppy has requested and received permission to use the dragon images as avatars etc. however, in practice it is quite safe. The benefit of pursuing these minor breaches would be far outweighed by the negative press BFS would receive by trying to punish all us wrongdoers.

I am seeing a lawyer in two weeks, and he is the lead litigator of his team regarding a patent infringement lawsuit. Gosh, the case has been 3 years + now; his firm is suing the other firm. Let me throw the t-shirt making thing at him and see what he will come back with. I think I know his answer.
Strange, but I think my gem tree refreshed twice tonight. Normally, it would refresh at 8:30 pm, CT. I gifted the gems then, I did not check to see the gems had actually vanished from the tree, but I knew for sure that the gem count had gone to zero.
My tree refreshed again at around 11:30 pm, CT. I gave out another round of gems. Crumbles...do you notice anything?

No, all as normal I collected one gem from you this morning ( 1 hour ago) and I collected one gem yesterday morning. And I'm kind of sure that there hasn't been written "2 gems" because I changed my way of collecting/gifting and paid more attention.
... Wait, I remember that there was a gem from you on my second account during the last days ( but not today). But I don't know if it was yesterday nor if I've got a second one in the main account that day.

Uh oh glitch in the system. It seems like anytime you try to select a Moon/Sun element dragon to breed, it crashes the game. It doesn't seem to happen with hybrids like Equinox but only single element ones like Moon and Sunstruck. I think I'll send them an email about this.

I think it is a violation. But as long as you don't sell them it might stay not punished. I won't make one anyway.

I think BFS used Mirage for both these dragons because it was a logical "element" in the breeding.
Daydream = Mirage + Hypnotic, because when you daydream you fall into a kind of trance, seeing things that aren't there. Sunstruck = Mirage + Heat, because on really hot days, you can see mirages (like in deserts).
Maybe it's just unfortunate that BFS is releasing both dragons so close to each other when both need Mirage, but as speculated, it could be because they're rushing dragons out so that the 200th dragon can be released on the game's third anniversary.
BFS hasn't made it clear how long Sunstruck will be around, but I'd say breed for Mirage (in both the Island and the Cave if you can), and go for the Sunstruck once you have it. The Daydream can wait. Koala!

I like your guess for Nightmare! It fits well, and is almost an opposite combination for Daydream.
Yeah, I almost decided to breed for Sunstruck on both locations, then remembered that I'd get disqualified from the Last Call for Daydream if I did that. Funny how Daydream is eluding me. I'm a self-confessed daydreamer through and through...
