Deca has confirmed this event will have some of the winning dragons from their Ahoy Design Contest. And not just one dragon, either!
Keep in mind, when Deca used a player’s dragon design before, the name of the dragon, breeding combo, and elements were changed. So this isn’t a solid clue into the breeding hint.
This stilt standing dragon circled in red is certainly the marvellous Lookout Dragon by Discord player Acoustic Eel. This design is so remarkably creative. And the egg!
The tiny submerged octopuses (underlined in green) look dashingly like the Submerged Dragon by Discord player Worms. Look at the baby version — absolutely adorable!
And I have no idea what the nose diving dragon squiggled in blue on the far right is based on. Just wanted to point out how amazing its falling action is on the splash screen.

Astral is a nighttime theme. Its music is the same as the Paradise theme.
Even though Astral is considered night, it’s far too bright for my Vale. The sky is stunning and fairly dark, but the islands are brightly lit like it’s high noon, so any animated lights are flooded out. But I do like that danceable Paradise music.

Yes, they were both designed by players. The Lookout Dragon is by Acoustic Eel and the Submerged Dragon by Stringless Worms (Worms). DV is very fortunate to have such a talented player base. All the entries were incredible, and I could see any of them fitting perfectly in the game!

Is the DragonVale Sandbox broken? I need the rifted Misfortune Dragon, the Paradise event lists it as any treasure dragon + apocalypse dragon. The sandbox has it as any treasure + any apocalypse dragon. Which is correct? I am asking because I spent months trying for a Vidalia Dragon because it said you could bred it as long as you had one, it still says that. I found recently, you need 2 of them to breed it.

The ED was written by a former admin, and given the amount of content on it, it’d be practically impossible to complete it with no errors. So any mistakes you or other members notice is greatly appreciated. If there’s ever any conflicting breeding info, the sandbox is probably correct, but checking the in-game breeding hint is the most reliable source.
Also, don’t forget to use a night theme (like Astral) to breed Misfortune, as he requires night. G’luck!

Yes, Wisp is the best dragon to be breeding for gold return. It has a very short breed time and - if you are breeding in the park not rift - there are only three other dragons possible and the longest breeding time is 14 hours.

If you’re trying to find the best dragon to breed that has a short breed/incubation time and sells for a lot of DC, then Wisp is the best dragons (Wisp + Wisp).
If you’re trying earn a lot of DC by collecting from habitats that have high-earning dragons, commonly called 'DC farming', then tons of Bogberrys in the large Seasonal habitat with all its boosts, and Portent in the Dream habitat will get you there. 84 Bogberrys and 144 Portents on the Gargantuan and Overgrown Islands have made be financially free for life.
Newer dragons have emerged that earn even more, but I don’t need more DC, so it’s not worth it for me to mass breeding them. But you may want to try Iden and Ocular instead. The trick is to use an epic that makes a lot of DC and resides in a large habitat with a high DC cap, and no limit on the number of habitats you can own. The habitat’s DC cap is as important as the dragon’s DC earning rate, because most people can’t check their game more than once every 4 hours.
If this is the information you’re looking for, please message me, and I’ll provide you with more details and the levels you’ll need to feed the dragons to (doesn’t necessarily need to be level 20). I don’t want to go on and on if this is not the answer you were intending. 😅
