I just received a message saying that there are new upgrades available to the hibernation cave, and that I can now store up to 400 dragons.
And I'm like 400?! I've been playing this game for about five years, and I've never needed to upgrade my hibernation cave's capacity beyond 25. XD
Haven't made it to the 13th island yet either. I have islands 13 - 16 available, but I don't think I'll need any of them in a hurry. It's like a stockpile of islands that I'm just making my way through slowly over time.

The limit on the habitats were also raised. I'm at 140 and have bought 16-17 additional habitats slots with gems. Yesterday, I could only have 197 habitats and today I can get 207 habitats so looks like the ceiling has been up by 10. 😁

I read on the Wiki - but haven't had it verified - that the surface habitats are now reward habitats and no longer count towards the habitat cap.
I'm sure adlerist will be along shortly to clear everything up. (No pressure)

So that's why there's more habitats available. I wasn't really paying attention because I don't need to buy habitats very often. I know they usually give you one each time you level up, and I know I'm not quite at the limit just yet. But I decided to check it after leveling up my park, and now it says I'm at 60/95.
Which is excellent, because now I don't have to worry about having to pay for them with gems any time soon. 😀🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉

I’m really glad that the Surface Habitats no longer count towards your habitat limit! It’s not that I secretly wish that it hold more dragons or it does not have a building time or something.

Yes, this is correct. Your extra habitat slots are due to the Surface habitats no longer counting toward you park limit. I’ll post an announcement on the event thread. Cheers!

The Rifted Misfortune Dragon and Rift Loot Dragons are very hard to get. Is there a way to see which which combo is best? I know Fletch does it, but where does he gets his information from?

The combo for rifted Loot is pretty locked. Gold + Plant elder might be best. If you don't use plant, use a dragon with fire, plant or metal. Dragons with a 4 element minimum tend to be much harder to breed than just 3.
I used Ragnarok (my only rifted apocalypse at the time) and Gold. Dark, fire, cold and metal. Got Misfortune pretty quickly, but I don't know if it's the best.

If you’re trying to breed a traited Misfortune in the Rift, try Electrum + Ouroboros. Since the Rift has insta-breeding, you want long breeding fails to maximise the amount of Doubloons. Fletch’s calculations are for breeding combos that have a greater percentage and short breeding fails for the Vale. Although, you can certainly use them in the Rift as well.
For Loot, you may want to try Gold + Malachite, or Gold + Ironwood in the Rift. The sandbox is your friend.
