a couple of sandbox updates... i've just spent an hour going through dragon-by-dragon trying to catch any updates to habitats, breeding requirements, etc. hopefully i haven't made anything more broken. also, i've tracked down the last bits of magical-tidal code and removed them, so the tidal "bug" should be fixed now.

That’s true, it wasn’t. I recall Backflip had Tidal contribute all 10 elements after its release.

since i started running the dragonvale sandbox in 2017, the number of dragons has doubled, from 360 then to 720 now. because it takes two dragons to breed, the number of possible breeding pairs the code needs to track has gone from 55 thousand to 240 thousand.
website traffic has also increased, from around 10 million requests/160 GB per month then, to 26 million requests/500 GB per month now. i'm sure the frequent events have nothing to do with that.
the next five years...

I love your numbers though. That’s super interesting. It gives a lot of insight into the game. Deca doesn’t share figure with us, obviously, so we’re always left to guessing. But your numbers provide a wonderful snapshot that gives some much needed perspective.

A question for the collective brains trust; what is the last dragon to have a specific design for its juvenile dragon?
I am currently using my fails to replace my level 10 dragons with level 4 dragons, so they have more room to move in their habitats. I know at some point BFS started saving woman/hours by just doing a baby and an adult version. I am wondering at what point that kicked in.

I want to say it was with the arrival of the Ghostlies in October 2018 (not including the Ghostlies themselves) however even before that it’s hard to tell because the juvenile design is very similar to the adult but with different proportions

Of course, it did not show as they are not regular habitats, but the Vault of Abundance came up, saying I own it. I have scoured my park but cannot see it, is there a way to search for it?

If you haven’t levelled up the Vault and summoned Ts’aishen, you can use the Prismatic Pantheon with the settings None + Dragons + Epic. That will colourise all the Legendary dragons.

The previous event theme was Foreboding. After the event ended yesterday, it switched to Day, which is basically the new NONE setting. If you keep the theme on Day, when the next event starts, the event’s Twilight Tower theme should automatically show. But if you have the Tower set to a different theme, that theme will remain and the event theme will not override your settings.
If you switch themes, or need to know the event theme in the future, I list it on the first page of the event thread in this post.

I only have THREE dragons left before my Dragonarium starts spitting any color of fire (red is first, I think). What is the fastest way to figure out which future event will contain my missing dragons? This place is so big that I don’t know where to start.
Obviously the fastest way would be to ask y’all, but I’m not listing them since I want to do the research myself 🤣

Wisp + Wisp is still the best dragon to breed for DC. I noticed that page was removed from the sandbox, as well as the games and such. I don’t recall all the dragons that were on it, but Wisp will likely always be the best given the short (2 hour) breeding time and its sell price of 5 million. I can’t see Deca ever making a dragon with a short breeding time. 😄

i have some olympian dragons, like the hydra and cerberus, that i'd much rather have in something other than an olympus habitat. its just too posh, they deserve something darker, more ruined, more fit for hades than elysium. but i think i'm stuck, unless i'm overlooking something? has anyone else run into that sort of thing?
Since they’re Olympus dragons, the only other habitats they can reside in are the Omnitats. Not exactly a dark habitat, but maybe Cerberus and Hydra can be placed on a darker themed island.
