Bit early for Halloween!I wonder how soon is soon?
Cecilia at the Duckpond
Since Deca has said they probably won’t have event breaks span longer than a week (no month-long breaks), due to player retention problems, I’d say the Hallowe’en event is coming soon.
In that case, I'm stopping by for adlerist , who said to offer a friendly reminder to ask if DECA will increase the amount of spooky habitats.
Also, I'm just going to set this random koala down here for whoever needs one. 🐨 Cant wait for the Halloween event to begin. 🎃🎃🎃
My sincere apologies if I'm bringing this up too soon. I see the Halloween event island is coming soon, so I'm guessing they're already working on the coding to put everything in place for the next event. Figured that was a good time to mention it so DECA can add the increase now while things are still in progress.

We share our physical lives with those in spirit. For life, like love, never dies. Love knows no limits, not even death.
I have been trying to breed a Solis in the rift for a while now, using Sun and Arcturus with the "day" setting. I think for a while it was not breedable in the rift, but then it was, at least for a while. To check again I looked in the sandbox, also hoping to find the best breeding combo, but it says "not breedable right now" although there is no hourglass at all, green or gray, on it in the dragonarium. So, should I just keep at it, or am I wasting time and etherium?
Go with what the dragonarium says. The sandbox is not always correct. It tells us that a number of the dragons that should be breedable and do not have hourglasses cannot be bred right now. Burrow and Aperature are good examples. Just check the Bring 'em Back box and you'll get the information on how to breed them. As long as there is no mix up the dragonarium is always accurate.

cynmed is correct. Solis is a permanent dragon and is available (as is Lunis).
Do you have another Galaxy dragon other than Arcturian to use? It has a large number of fails compared to some of the other Galaxy dragons. The sandbox suggests Bizurian or Lunis with the lowest number of fails. You do not need to have a day setting to be successful with Solis.
Solis and Lunis have 'unusual' breeding requirements, especially when it comes to cloning. This is from the ED which has all dragon breeding hints listed.
Solis - SUN + Any Galaxy Can be bred in ALL caves - CLONE in co-op only {Sun/Galaxy FELλ}
So, when you get your Solis, if you want to clone another one in the rift, you could use Solis + SUN dragon (Solis fulfils the Galaxy requirement).

cynmed Thanks for the reminder about Aperture and Burrow. I have updated the ED and moved them both to the permanent section.

Deca made Lunis and Solis permanent several months ago and the sandbox never updated.

Hi all. Returning player here after a relatively long break. I’m so happy to be back and so grateful for this amazing forum! My question is does anyone know how many presents are hidden in the park? Thankyou:)

I'm currently planning for the likely next event and have a few questions:
1. Do we know if Scourge is more easily bred through their combos or through the co-op cave?
2. Also, for the newer dragons with the horsemen (Scourge, Macabre, Barbarous, etc.) in their combos, is it best to just try to co-op clone them with someone else's dragon, or do their combos have better chances?
Of course I know that some of this is based on luck, and I know that there's a good chance we don't know this information, but I'm trying to complete each event's collection that I'm missing over the course of this next year and am trying to plan with the best possible combinations in mind. Thanks in advance for any bit of information!

Are you asking for the breeding percentages for Scourge, Macabre, and Barbarous? Or for Scourge and Wendigo?

Scourge plus the new Halloween dragons sans Ocular and Nox. I’m just wondering if co-op or combo is the way to go.

I bought 6 bonfires from the camping market, thinking they will be great for toasting marshmallow while getting ready for Halloween.
They have all been extinguished!!

Hahaha! They are lit all through the night to keep you warm, then stomped out during the day to prevent forest fires.
Smokey the Bear would not have it any other way! 🌲🐻🌲

I believe these are the dragons you’re requesting:
Scourge: if you don’t own Scourge, it’s definitely better to clone in the co-op. You’ll only have a 1.5% chance, but that’s much better than using the breeding combo.
For Wendigo, Maw, Kwall, Gatren, Iden, and Malefice, it’s better to use the breeding combo at 3% (a little lower for Wendigo and Iden), than to clone.
If you need more dragons, message me. Cheers!

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this. In the egg history from the breeding sites, it's odd that the Galaxy dragons aren't listed. Does anyone know if this is a bug??
I just checked the Egg History at the Cooperative Breeding Cave and it shows my Galaxy breeds. The reason why Galaxy dragons are not displayed at the other breeding locations is because they can only be bred at the Cooperative.

Oh! Thanks for letting me know. But it's odd that for other dragons, the numbers are consistent across all breeding locations. Any reason why?

The Egg History is showing the total for each dragon that has been bred across all locations in the Vale. But since the Galaxy dragons can only be bred at the Cooperative, they’re only listed there.

Leading on from the Galaxy discussion… how on earth (or in the Vale) does one breed Rigel? It’s a Galaxy so can only be bred in the CBC, but it’s Rift exclusive?
