Thanks for clearing that up Fletch. And thanks again for my island overview. Am very happy with it
Pleasure, ma'am. Having fun improving things with each one I do.
Does that include mine? Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty please. Begging on my hands and knees. Agreed to a second date after hysterically funny message won me over so may need it
On another note. As the days in october quickly pass and everyone anxiously anticipates the return of the bone dragon, i cant help but find myself having mixed feelings again. While i long to have a chance for a second bone dragon and egg to display i lament the loss of the sort of badge of seniority having an original bone dragon, witch hut and pumpkin patch showed. It was a way of seeing those of us that have been playing dragonvale since the begining. Im sure im not the only old timer that feels sad about this.
I think that is kind of selfish myself. My son was 6 years old when it came out and has been playing since the second week of inception. He was just learning to read and did not understand the entire "breeding" concept of the game but did his best. He was not able to breed a bone dragon and has been waiting to get a chance again ever since. Are you any more seasoned or deserving than he is? At most you have been playing two weeks longer.
Without this forum or other Internet forums I'd be willing to bet that loads of people would have missed a dragon or two while trying to figure out the right combinations, or still be working on their shrines, you included.

Aww..so you are in the same situation as I am with the Gem island. That's a good thing on your HC. I am in need of updating mine or doing some house cleaning.
I caved an updated mine a few days after it came out. Got tired of selling the extra moons and things, and wasn't willing to compromise my breeding parents in order to breed the blue moon and solstice
Good idea. I have been putting it off because of all the dragons lately costing me 700+ gems. Gonna have to take the plunge at some point though because I don't want to sell any of the rares etc.

Honestly meant no disrespect to anyone with that post and if it was taken the wrong way then i sincerely apologize. I wasnt saying that no one else deserves a chance to breed bone. As i said i cant wait to get my second. All i meant was that it was a good indicator as to how old some of our parks are. Ive put a ton of time into dragonvale over the last year (much to my wifes dismay) and it was just nice to see who else has been playing as long as i have. With so many of us stuck at level 35 its hard to tell whos been playing for a year and whose been playing for 6 months. Thats all. I meant no harm and hope that everyone understands that. I guess its just a leftover sentiment from work as seniority means quite a bit in my profession. Once again. Apologies to anyone i may have insulted and please excuse me if i came off as selfish. This forum and this community has been a big reason that im even still playing after a year.
This will be a big event in my simple life as it's the only dragon/egg I don't have. Following that my hope would be the introduction of a lot of new dragons as I'm thinking of going to an all Turbo Baby Dragon park - the first Dragonvale Nursery as far as I know.
Poppy
I thought I remembered someone saying their entire park was babies. Hm, just can't seem to remember who it was.
My Grammy park with my grandkids is becoming an all baby park. I think that would be really cool, love the babies and bet yours' will look terrific, and you would have a goal again.
I just got back from a trip to the East Coast...I have a bit of catching up to do. I don't know if anybody else has a turbo baby park, but the dragons in my second account are all babies. Imagine the noise!!!
Is there an updated version of this dragon cash per sweep frequency thingie somewhere? dragonvale-tips.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=library&thread=74&page=1#3810 I still have metal dragons from some months ago, but I suspect they are not the top anymore and that I am just being lazy in leaving my metal dragon island. In fact, I am so lazy at DV lately, that I have over 300 million in dc sitting in my bank with plenty of dragons I could level to 15, but can't find the time/energy to spend growing sarjin peppers for an hour or two. Soooo many taps, so little time.
That post hasn't been updated since April. Hoping Poppy sees this and takes a fresh look. He's been needing a new challenge.
Didnt Fletch say at some point that once the island was full he couldnt breed another gem dragon? Is this still the case?
1st: Your islands do look great.
2nd: I did say that. Either I was in a dry spell when I was testing, or BFS changed the rules. Either way you can breed a gem dragon when your island is full.
Oh, I never realized there was such a rule. Good thing they changed it or your dry spell ended or we would never be able to get the 12th gem display egg.

Check out the eZine thread as we have been reporting new habitat earnings there.

Sean.
I understood what you were saying. It's kind of cool perk to have something that was limited and you happened to be there to get it. I missed the Bone and the Reindeer. I just started playing around December and didn't know they existed or were limited. I think I was just trying to start out and get whatever I could get. LOL! It took me a few months to get into the game and start looking for combos and how to get them. I would like to be able to get a Bone Dragon, but if I didn't get one, I would still be happy for those who were around and able to get one when they were out. I also know there would most likely be a different cool dragon instead.

I missed out on anything prior to July but agree completely, it's a nice way to see those who have played longest. For example, much as I lust after the Leap Year dragon, I think it *should* be special to those there at that time and I think it will be a shame if all their specials reappear.

It'd be cool if BFS could come up with Version 2 of the Bone Dragon. So, same general design but a different color or something like that. That way, those of us who didn't play the game when the Bone Dragon first came out could still get one but those who have been here since the beginning can still keep their original Bone Dragon (and their status as long-standing players) and then add the new version of the dragon to their collection.
When the game is getting to me, say that newest dragon just isn't finding its' way to my park and my obsession of having every dragon right now raises its' head, maybe "it's just a game" just isn't helping - I think about the fact that I'm obsessing over pixels. I can't hold them in my hand. I can't pick them up and hand them to another person. They are pixels.

Correct and ... We are all caracters on a screen, we cannot even move as do our pixels dragons! Maybe we are all just virtual
