How? How are you guys successful with Leap, Solstice, & my albatross-- the big K, so allusive! He'd really speed things along for me I suspect if only I could get the last piece, 150 gems but, just prior to the availability of all Dragons I had drained my (earned) gems buying the other two pieces as I was tired of really poor Quest results & mostly yucky race rewards. I'm being persistent, patient, just a wee bit discouraged, blah blah, waaaaahh!! (Okay, there's my whine!) Sitting on hands to not press Paypal gem purchase-- a promise I made to myself after relating to many of you in that when you buy them you seemingly & stupidly speed up fails. Boy, decisions, decisions-- shall I succumb?--feel cheap or give in to the cheapness of Apocalypse & justify an early gift to thyself? His cuteness is pushing me over! A little humor relief: Does anyone know why Santa's little Helper was depressed?

Not sure if this has been asked and answered but can anyone (read Fletch) please confirm or deny that i could breed a second leap year by breeding my first with a rainbow. I was able to get my first back in feb but never got a second. I put my leap year and rainbow in yesterday and got a 48hr and i dont want to keep torturing myself by doing this if theres no chance of getting my second leap year this way. Thanks.

I just got my 2nd Leap using Current and Poison on EBI. Each time I had several Poison and Cactus fails but they are only 23 mins so it was quick and painless, like a band-aid.
I also got a 1st Solstice using Blazing and Lava in the cave. Spent two days I guess the fails for me were horrible 90% were Smoke, I hurried a few of them along but always wait until they are down to 3-4hr mark before I do.

Whoa! I'm breeding my first epic hybrid!
I put a Magnetic and Lichen together on the Epic Breeding Island (to get an Apocalypse) and it appears they're making a Blue Moon instead! (The breeding time matched up exactly -- 1:05:31:45.) And that isn't even the recommended breeding pair to make a Blue Moon. Sweeeeeet.
Anyway, stefiebee, why was Santa's little helper depressed?

so the best way to Leap Year is still Flower and Mountain? Ive got about 4 to clean up before the beginning of next month. Just gave in and bought 5 bucks worth of gems.... hopefully i wont have to dig in for more

Spent 450 hard earned saved up 4 ever .... Gems breeding 2 LYDs then got another as a fail trying for the APOC

Regarding Love, Clover, Bloom, Sakura, and Butterfly, are these dragons rare? I know they were all limited, but not sure if they were rare also. I'm trying to figure out some sort of gem usage strategy? Anybody know the approx. drop rates of these?
ChiliPepper= Potm! Yup. A bunch of pixels! Happy, happy, joy, joy! A decoration "closet" would be sweeeet, too, & I love the image conveyed with a floating stocking, for all our loot!! Panic button firmly yet joyfully pressed--can't find how to breed leap year or where Fletch's guide is, help! I'm discombobulated!
The guide is 250Strong's Rare Breeding Guide, which is found in our Elemental Boost section. And discombobulated is a good word.

Yeah. OMG. My dh gave me a gem box for Christmas and I'm in heaven, Leap year, bloom, love and Sakura done, clover and apocalypse to go. Thank you so much. One teensy minor quibble, large rainbow should have held 3 dragons. I get the double rainbow motif but 3 blue moon shouldn't out earn the best dragon.
