Haha, my Storm + Flower combo hasn't given me much. Just a fake-out 5 hr. Wasn't a Love or Reindeer, it was a Storm instead. I have another 5 hour sitting in the cave, so maybe this'll be my Love.

Oh yay, the 5 hr was a Love. I'm excited, got my first Expired dragon.

I have been taking care of my little brother (the flu got another victim this year, the little stinker virus). This return of all the dragons has been keeping me distracted. LOL.
Before BFS's generous Christmas surprise, I had managed to breed two Gold Treasure Dragons (right after each other, using Metal + Brass!!) Then a dragon at last brought home a 18-hour fragment after a long, arduous quest, completing Time Claw (after a month of waiting!!)
I then tried to go for Platinum, while waiting for the Apocalypse dragon to come out. All I got were Rusts. Not surprising.
Since the Apocalypse came out, I've been trying for that dragon using Magnetic + Lichen, but no luck so far. With BFS's gift, I've ended up with a pile of Storms, a Blue Moon being bred (didn't need it, but shall keep it), and now I have either a Copper or Apocalypse being bred. I hope it's the Apocalypse Dragon!
As for breeding the recently returned limiteds, I'm not certain. I have most of the limiteds - I'm only missing Love and a few of the harder Gemstone dragons from summer. Thinking of doing the Gemstones, as Love will return in February, only a couple months away.
I am extremely glad for all those who now get a chance to breed Leap Year and Paper.
I also redecorated the epic habitat island, let me know what you think...

I looked through the posts and have pretty much confused myself. What has been the most successful combo for Leap Year? I don't even have a Rainbow yet. Sigh...my "green" is starting to show.
All combos have the same % success rate. The only difference is how long you wait for the fails to finish. Plant, Fire, Cold and Lightning is the 4 element combo with the shortest fails, so Cactus + Bluefire, Lichen + Firefly, Flower + Storm ... something like that.

Regarding Love, Clover, Bloom, Sakura, and Butterfly, are these dragons rare? I know they were all limited, but not sure if they were rare also. I'm trying to figure out some sort of gem usage strategy? Anybody know the approx. drop rates of these?

Haven't really tried for Apocalypse, because I don't have time to redecorate and move everything around. Figure I'm going to have do that in a couple of days when I relocate my Seasonal to my Blue Island when it gets all snowy. First try in my breeding cave ... 16 hours, 9 mins, 36 secs. Woot ... I guess ...
A favor please. When you are all posting your amazing breeding results, could you tell us what combo you used? Yes, there's lots of good info available, but it's great to hear firsthand what's working.
I'm trying out bloom chrome to go for both leap year and apocalypse dragons. Simulator gives 1 of 10 for both on the island.
