Hi everyone. I'm having trouble with my friends list, every time I go to it I get crashed out of the game. Anyone else have this problem? Tracey
I had this problem too. Having too many Dragonvale friends may cause this problem. One way to fix it is to delete any extra friends that you might have on Gamecenter. This should reduce the loading and causes of crashing during in-game. Other than that, I do not know of any other troubleshooting solution for this problem.

BFS knows about this problem and has made the following suggestion.
I updated and now DragonVale exits to the home screen after tapping “Friends” or while scrolling through my friends list.
We are aware of this issue affecting some players and are currently working on a fix. If your device is running iOS 4.3 or lower, we suggest updating your device’s iOS as this has fixed the issue for users with older iOS. Thank you very much for your patience while we fix this issue!

Thanks Electron, I do have an extensive friends list. I will delete some and see if it helps. Pretty sure the iPad is up to date with everything. It's just so annoying, I have been given gems and can't return them. Tracey

Edit: have I mentioned how I HATE the fails for apocalypse? I've had 3 suns, 2 moons and not even the decency of a rainbow if I'm going to have to wait 39h. Whine, whine, whine.....

The Gift Dragon will not be limited to 1 after the 25th! It won't be free anymore but you will be able to breed for more or buy more from the marketplace. It's not known how long after the 25th it will be available for though.
That's great! It was really annoying me that I couldn't have both, dragon and egg!
Me too! I got the free one but just kept it in my nursery because I couldn't decide whether to hatch it or display it. Was really bugging me that we couldn't have both. Now I'm delighted both to have one free, but also able to get a second.
BackFlip Studios is really good with stuff like this -- limiting things enough to make a fun challenge, but also not over-limiting things to the degree of making us unhappy. They do a great job in managing that balance, I think. I also think they do a great job in bringing out new features to the game in order to keep old-timers happy. I've been playing for over a year, and still find a quiet delightment with the game. Yet, they make it fun for newbies too. I think it's wonderful that they have this short period where folk who came in late can get absolutely any dragon. Once again I think I good balance. I also think they do a superb balance in managing what things cost.
In general I really admire how BackFlip studios has done this game. I admire how profitable it is, while making it's players happy. (I played We Rule by Ngmoco for a year. Greedy scum-bags.)
Ok this is not funny... When are the yellow trees going to be yellow again??? They are still labeled as yellow trees in the market but they are very obviously GREEN. It is cramping the style of two of my islands... I was hoping it was a glitch and they would fix it but they haven't changed back yet!
As suggested by the sandbox i tried lichen and flower on the island looking for my second gift and scored another lichen. Threw gift and plant into the cave for grins because it worked for poppy and viola. Gift number two on its way. No if i could only get my second platinum after a hundred plus rusts ill be all set and i can go back to fixing up my egg display.
