I think that you should continue to try and breed that 2nd Apocalypse. All of the other dragons here listed should come back next year, but after the 9th (or 7th I think) of January, the Apocalypse will be gone for good. If you want to hold that 2nd one aside for now, I suggest that you wait to the breed the gemstone dragons (since you will get a full month for those) and breed the others. They should be coming back in Spring again if you don't get a chance to get them, so it'll only be a season's wait from now.
If only DV would create a "coitus stoppus" function... It would have to be magical of course, there's NO way I'm stepping between 2 dragons trying to convince one it has a headache...

Thanks elektronx, I'll do that. With them dragons all coming back for 2 weeks, I'm afraid DV will offer new ones next year and put those available right now in the vault (and I so want a 2nd Sakura!)
And BTWthe Sums and Moons are comming at any part of the day. Got another moon today at about 10am
It is dependent on the time they are put into the cave, not when they are incubated. Unless you spend the gems to immediately get them out of the cave, you need to keep track of the time, especially if your caves are upgraded and you are taking 20% off the breed time.
Is there a site anywhere that lists the dragons in the order they came out? I think I might have missed getting an egg of something about 5 weeks ago, but I can't remember what it was.
The Game Update section of the wiki has all of that info.
Lol, sure! Hope you get your Sakura soon as a result of this excellent whine. Yes, Flower + Tree is your only option to breed the Sakura, until you have 2, of course. Much luck!

I think it's high time I joined the queue for a bit of a whinge and whine about my complete failure to snare a Platinum dragon.
I've been trying continually since the moment it was released, with a brief pause to try for the Love and Clover which I was missing, but didn't specially want as I don't like them. This meagre half-hearted attempt resulted in four successive Blue Moons (of which I already had two!)
So it was back to breeding rust/water, with occasional switches to metal/water, metal/rust, quicksilver/rust, and various combinations thereof - in both the cave and on the island.
NOTHING! Rust after rust after rust. I really truly would LOVE a Platinum - please, please pleeeeeeease!
Do you think that will do it?

I have managed 1 Platinum since it was released. Constant Rusts don't bother me though. I decided to try Platinum/Gold and what do you know.... BAM!!!

At least the combo of Platinum+Gold gives you a 1 in 3 chance of getting a 2nd Platinum though. I'm going for seconds after the limiteds go away, but hopefully the Platinum will eventually turn up.
I can't remember where I saw it but is the panlong finishing at the end of the year?
they say you can only breed it during the year of the dragon... But when does it end? If they're talking about the chinese year, I don't think it ends on January 1st, but we'd have to check (I definitely need a second one before it ends)

I'm having no luck at all. I've been able to breed a few limiteds as fails but no more. I can't even breed a gift display egg. I don't know when that one leaves the market so I'm concentrating on it.
