I absolutely cannot get a bloom. I get way too many Evergreen and lichen fails, it's just so frustrating. Can't get a 2nd LY or Apocalypse either > (I hope whining brings negative reverse psychology for extra Koala.)
I gave up on Bloom. Figured I'll try it in the Spring when there aren't SO many others to try for.
Is there a site anywhere that lists the dragons in the order they came out? I think I might have missed getting an egg of something about 5 weeks ago, but I can't remember what it was.
We have been keeping track of them on our calendar feature here . Hope you figure out what you are missing.
Is it legit to sign up to the forum just to make a whine post? Whine whine whine --- I can't breed a Sakura no matter how many times I try. Shouldn't grumble really: when the limiteds came back I got every one I needed at the first attempt, until it came to Sakura, last on the list. Since then, nothing. Even trying to break things up by going for a second Bloom, Paper or Leap Year has yielded nothing. Oh, I do have a 48 hour something going right now --- either an unwanted Rainbow or an unwanted Sun. Whine whine whine.
The sandbox gives Flower + Tree as the only combo for Sakura. Is that right? So e.g. Poison + Moss won't work?
Lol, sure! Hope you get your Sakura soon as a result of this excellent whine. Yes, Flower + Tree is your only option to breed the Sakura, until you have 2, of course. Much luck!
I have 1 LYD and 1 Blue Moon. I know if I want a 2nd LYD I have to breed it before 1/2/13. Does this hold true if I want a 2nd Blue Moon?
I think so? However, warning. I bred 1 LYD deliberately during this Christmas Surprise time. I've gotten 2 more when trying to breed for other stuff.
As long as you have a blue moon and at least one other moon type limited (equinox, solar or lunar eclipse), you will be able to breed those together for another blue moon any time you want to. So the Blue Moon is much less important than the LYD, as long as you have at least one.

Yes, Flower and Tree are your best bet for getting a Sakura so far. I got mine with that combination.

Tried for a few Gemstones dragons but didn't get anywhere. Tried for a Bloom and Sakura but got fudge. Currently got a 48hr something breeding but have no idea what, sandbox offers five 48hr options on a Panlong/Paper so I have to wait a long time for something I don't need was hoping for a second paper!

Hey Jleigh. Sounds like a pretty good whine. We're you stomping your foot to. You have to do that you know. I can remember wishing for one of those 48 hr dragons. Haha how things change. I'm still trying for paper and a second panlong in my other account and not having a any koala there either. I wish you better luck and fewer 48 hr fails.
Got a quick question: Are there any statistics for a pair of dragons breeding over and over to have a less chance of getting a dragon that you want or a rarer dragon? Sorry if that sounds quite confusing, but more like letting your dragons "rest" from constant breeding. I've heard a lot of rumors about stopping a pair after so many tries to let them rest and put them back in with the outcome of a rarer dragon. Just wanted to know if this is fact or fiction.
It is fiction. The % chance of success is set, and nothing you do on your end can alter it. Dragon level, order, breeding experience or lack there of ... none of it matters. Repetition is all that's important.

Ok, fine. At least I got my pairs of Leap Years, Apocalypses and Gifts. Even got Opal and Sapphire egg displays. I've still got four Gemstone eggs and five of the limited ones to go for, but so far, fail after fail after unwanted 48-hour fail. It seems I'm gonna have to wait for their real times to complete my collection. Peridot's the farthest out, so that's August for me. That's far closer than 2016 (had I not gotten the LYDs).

I got 4 LYD, 2 blue moon, 3 moon, and 2 suns while trying for an Emerald, which I still haven't gotten yet (probably due to the extended breeding times). Try throwing a lichen and crystal in one of you breeding habitats you might score a LYD as a fail.
And BTWthe Sums and Moons are comming at any part of the day. Got another moon today at about 10am

If we're collecting data, then my two sun and single moon fails have all conformed to the expected breeding window times. Not a large sample, but I've had enough long fails over the past week and I don't need any more

I think it's high time I joined the queue for a bit of a whinge and whine about my complete failure to snare a Platinum dragon.
I've been trying continually since the moment it was released, with a brief pause to try for the Love and Clover which I was missing, but didn't specially want as I don't like them. This meagre half-hearted attempt resulted in four successive Blue Moons (of which I already had two!)
So it was back to breeding rust/water, with occasional switches to metal/water, metal/rust, quicksilver/rust, and various combinations thereof - in both the cave and on the island.
NOTHING! Rust after rust after rust. I really truly would LOVE a Platinum - please, please pleeeeeeease!

Finally got my second leap year. Now I need to work on a second apoc and gift. I will be on happy girl if I get those before they expire.
