I may switch cuz I still need a second clover and Sakura but I was hoping for at least one love. Except for that and the garnet I have at least one of all the other dragons. Koala to you!

My first Sakura was a beast to get but yesterday the second one only took two tries. Hope yours comes so easily! A few months ago I accidentally sold my second firework so I'm hoping he'll pop up as a garnet fail. There was a time when fireworks were a plague upon my vale, now they are nowhere in sight.

*Out from under my rock* I only half tried for Garnet yet, maybe 4 tries. Been obsessed with the bringem back program. (Well played, BFS. You got all my Xmas iTunes credits.. Well played.) I got pairs of Sakuras (love) butterfly, LYD, clover.. I just realized the only single plain dragon I have left is the Love one. Oops how sad! Got 1 emerald, and I'm cracking for a Ruby, but that's been Fail Central. I hope garnet is as easy for me as I'm hearing as I've got nuttin for gems now. Holla koala for garnets, all!
I need that apoc!! I have one because I bought it, but I have to actually breed one!
I'm right there with you, plus I still need my FIRST gold Olympus and then 2nds of Dodo, current, seasonal, turquoise, glacier, platinum, apocalypse, Topaz and Emerald if possible...ugh that's a load to accomplish in this short time while trying for Garnet too!!!

Rox. Where the heck have you been GF. I haven't heard from you in days. I just get your gems. Lol. Thanks btw. How has your breeding been going? Yeah I've done pretty well with the primary account and not to bad with the other one. I had been saving my gems so had a good stash when the re-release came out. Have been working really hard on getting the limiteds that may not come back for a while. I finally got my second paper in the other account after going through the small bunch of gems there. I have 5 LYD and display egg. (I ran out of room to put more LYD). Finally got my first rainbow. It was a fail but now I can't remember what I was trying for. After 2 days of using mud and flower for clover in the primary account I realized it was supposed to be moss instead of mud. Lol. Put the right combo in and got clover. Amazing when you use the right combo eh?! Don't be such a stranger k?!
Well they were releasing their new dragons on a Thursday. This was before December, of course, when they were releasing new things every other day. So now we're waiting to see if the releases continue.
Oh of course, that makes sense. I think the Christmas break and the Bring 'em Back kind of put that to a halt for now.
Not sure where to post this, but thought I'd share how my nursery looked on New Year's Day.

Are you kidding me! This is awesome. I was talking to fletch about doing this. All those gem dragon eggs in the habitat together is pretty Cool! We ran a competition for the best hatchery that ended on the 2nd of January. you should have entered...it was interesting that no one had dual gem dragons let alone 3!

Unfortunately I didn't know about the competition at the time, been having family over for the last 3 weeks so not much time in front of the computer. Next time.
Below is a story about how I set out to get each and every limited dragon with the BFS Bring 'em Back "campaign" by 2 January. I bought myself a $100 voucher and bought both my wife and I $50 worth of gems each, which is 1500 gems.
I only allowed myself to get these gems on Christmas day, as this was my Christmas present from me to me and of course for my wife.
When I initially started, I was pessimistic with the entire endeavor, thinking I will only be able to get the normal limited dragons without any gem dragons. Please keep in mind I only started playing on 1 November so I basically only had Solar, Lunar, Solstice, Reindeer, Topaz and Turquoise limited dragons. That means I basically had to get them all, as you will see in the spreadsheet below.
When the campaign started, I was still chasing Apocalypse (and still am....) and I got 2 blue moon and 2 leap year dragon fails. This made me think that the odds seem a bit higher than usual and I started feeling for optimistic. As soon as I had these fails, I started going for paper, which I also got a breeding pair before Christmas, 2 in a row.
What I then did was list all the dragons I required in Excel, then sort them by their average fail times, which I got from the famous breeding sandbox. Based on that I reckoned that I should be able to get each dragon within 10 tries, that's about 10% probability to get the dragons, less the clearing of the nursery of course...
The rest of the story is pretty self-explanatory from the spreadsheet, showing how many gems I spent per dragon.
Some rules I forced upon myself: - Only use the island (higher odds of course) - No "greedy" gem spending when I could wait 10-15 minutes for instance to save on a gem. - Targets are not to be burnt out of the island. Exceptions to this was the bloom because I got them back to back, the Sakura as it's breeding time matched bone and lava, and the gem dragons which I allowed myself to kick out with 12 gems, otherwise I would not have made the 2 January deadline.
What it doesn't tell however is how many times I was lucky. For instance, Butterfly, Clover, Bloom and Sakura I got back to back. Opal I got on the second try.
You will also notice that bone is not listed, that's merely because of so many combos had them as fails and I ended up getting it anyway. I wish I did the same with firework as the ruby combo gave me 3 of them. I was also permanently breeding ice/mud in the cave to try and get my ghost, which I only got one. The two others I got from one of the gem fails, emerald I think. I also used the cave to get my second gift dragon, hence the low amount of gems spent there.
I was well on my way to finish up with 300 odd gems in the bank once done, but the emerald really really hurt me and as the world would have it, statistics worked itself out in the end...
Yay! Figured out the time on the Sandbox. Woot woot! Finally have my second Apoc brewing! (Ash+Steel)

For the most part. I need a display for Turquoise and Topaz, and a second Gift dragon would be nice. Working on the Turquoise now. Hopefully it will happen quicker than the first one did!

I don't want to panic, but I did't see the Panlong dragon in your list. Are you aware that this one will leave sometime in February ?
Thanks crumble, and thanks for your concern. Sorry I forgot to mention that I managed to squeeze in two panlongs just before the apocalypse dragon. Thank goodness, those blazing/mud fails are insane now!!
