Apple is releasing a new operating system tomorrow. BFS has prepared a tutorial for those wishing to upgrade. They posted the following on Facebook, along with a link to the tutorial.

I am unsure if you are speaking about the mobile app or the default broswer view, but as far as I know, you cannot directly attach files in a Private Message. However, pics can be displayed and sent with the proper usage of the image code () if the picture has a direct web link.

The usual reason for this is that you or she has done an upgrade but the other hasn't. Check to see if you have an upgrade pending.

I'm getting ready to upgrade from and iPhone 4 to a 5S. Is there something special I need to do to transfer my game over to my new device? One of my other games requires I transfer using my UDID.

Nothing special as long as your new phone is set up with the same gamecenter account. All your games that link to gamecenter should transfer your game accounts automatically.

Thank you! There is one TeamLava (Storm8) game that doesn't, and the process to transfer devices is ludicrous.

You're welcome! All teamlava games utilise UDIDs and you can transfer them yourself automatically through their website if you have your old device's UDID and the new device UDID (yes, I play their games too!) but if you rely on their support to transfer your games, may take a loooooong time!

I have no upgrades pending and now the problem has spread to EX, as well as Lady Redwolf. Both have given me gems that I can't return (option to give gift is greyed out on list of gifts received) and I can't visit their park- they simply don't appear on the list! Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, has been happening to many of us, even myself. I suspect that it has to deal with problems with the server side of DragonVale, as I had sent a troubleshooting email to BFS support with the response that it was in fact another bug occurring. The best solution that they have suggested so far is to update with the latest version of the game, however, for some of us, it's just not working either.
I've lost a friend... Lady Redwolf gives me gems but I cannot return them or visit her park. Any suggestions?
Since the update DV 2.0, I have this problem with Saagaadaa. He sends gems to me, but I can't send gems to him, only sometimes. Most of the times he's not on my friends list, even when the gift from him appears. I found out that regifting works, but only if I regift directly before I collect the gem from him.
Now that BFS has shifted my park to another GCID, I've sent out a lot of FRs to my old friends. Some of them have accepted yet, others not. ElectronX has accepted and I can see her on the friends list in the Game Center but I can't see her in my DV friends list. Seems to be a bug.. ?
