I solved this prob by temporary taking out one dragon from an omnitat, then hatch the new dragon, cash the stars, sell that newborn. Rince and repeat until you have hatched all new eggs, then return the original dragon to the omintat. Saves me a lot of hassle.

This is what I did. Moved the Omnitat to my nursery island and leave a dragon out permanently (For the duration of the event; I took a galaxy dragon out)

I also have one spot free in the Rift to hold rifted babies.

you've 'rounded up all the usual suspects' yes? Turned off everything possible, cleared cache etc... I'm sure

ever since I switched from copper to fibre, ( we have no choice, copper isn't going to be supported for much  longer) everything loads at the old dial up speed (it seems, a dang sight slower than copper anyway) 
its not to do with download speed is it? 
Dont know what else to say, just, poop. 

Why 'no way of contacting support' ? Can use normal email if you can't use the link inside the game 🙂

I suspect it's got to do with an old iPad (with the biggest hard disk of its day) as against a smaller iPhone that can hack the job but has limited battery life and a much smaller capacity.

Not to mention a 4-inch screen you can barely see anything on.

As for Support, the old email address registered was Apache-filtered (which doesn't work on iOS and fishes loads of spam), so I'm having to use another e-mail account that can't connect.

Okay, so Mike of BFS got back to me. He said it sounded like what he qualifies as "performance issues".

So since I'm ruling out hard disk (this was the biggest available disk of its day, double normal Apple), I'm probably looking at a dated processor. I've followed those selected bits of his advice performed by processors, namely:
- shut off the snow (backgrounds seems like one always has to be there)
- turned off the island themes (so much for encouraging purchases)
- I'll be storing decorations next (still hiccups, but palpable improvement)
- And desperate measures, hibernate extra dragons, to be taken out on feed-and-breed basis. (I did up to level 125 for this, sigh).

It's a pain to be thinking of a new device (I do have the iPhone for emergencies, but it was purchased for handiness, so small and you barely see anything) so maybe I should simply go into dragon withdrawal therapy.

Dragon withdrawal therapy is v expensive, and not always guaranteed to 'take'; tails (ahem) abound of ex-Valers wandering the streets approaching muggles, asking to borrow tablets to "log in, just for a wee while, I have baby dragons, they're depending on me"... The costs of being bailed for such unsolicited public nuisance approaches add up. Then there are the costs of supplementary sublimation therapies, drawing therapy and modelling with fimo... Not to mention those mothers of dragons who become quite carried away (ahem) and end up making expensive bronzes...

it may just be better all round to outline the likely trajectories to friends and family, if they don't 'give a little' 😈😈🐨🐨🐨

Sorry BFS; I REALLY dislike your new method of moving items, it's not precise enough to also move the landscape to where it needs to be for placement; the drag and drop is clumsy and the tap and tap doesn't always work, requiring multiple 'collects' from origin of the item I'm trying to move: fairly epic fail score from me. Disgruntled of NZ
