Sorry BFS; I REALLY dislike your new method of moving items, it's not precise enough to also move the landscape to where it needs to be for placement; the drag and drop is clumsy and the tap and tap doesn't always work, requiring multiple 'collects' from origin of the item I'm trying to move: fairly epic fail score from me. Disgruntled of NZ

We desperately need 1. An upgrade of both of the Hibernation caves to 500, 2. An increase the number of rift habitats to hold at least as many dragons as currently available (to at least 85) 3. Increase the capacity of rift habitats and the amount that they cap out at. 4. Recoloring of giant rainbow habitats so they aren’t drab, washed out and boring. They need vibrant coloring like the rainbow and large rainbow please 5. Better dragonium sorting like dragonvale world including rift and twin categories
Thank you

All of the above plus: 6. A button to FILTER Dragons and Decorations to those currently sporting an hourglass. 7. The ability to once again be able to BREED the newest dragons instead of having to buy them with Event Currency or waste a Wish to aquire them.

Gotcher ears on BFS?? Are you noticing, BFS, that a large number of your most loyal players and promoters are not only disenchanted with the increasingly rare odds you now seem to place on dragon breeding success, and your odd idea of rewarding those who DONT spend RL$ on the game, but are also beginning to leave, because the initial joy in the beautiful artwork and animation of this game, accompanied by challenges which if stuck at did bear fruit, thus giving a sense of accomplishment, have vanished- like the chromacorn- into the mists of time... Alas This BeB I have not bred A. SINGLE. TARGET. DRAGON. In the Vale or the Rift. The non-successful continual breeding for Chromacorn did at least produce some (non-target) missing dragons, some comfort... Goodness knows how new players are coping. And you continuously bombard us with event after event; nowhere to display dragons, no time to catch up on missing dragons... No time to actually just enjoy the game; the pace has become somewhat frenetic So, many of us are playing much much less, and others are leaving or planning to Maybe that's the cycle of these games, I don't know, this is the only one I have played for this long and previously enjoyed so much My new personal strategy is going to be ignoring new events, if I happen to get new dragons great, and just playing maybe once a day... I now only play DVW at weekends... So, you're losing me slowly Sad

Well said.
I too have not bred a single target dragon during the entire BeB. This is supposed to be a a breeding simulation game but, unless you are content with simulating the breeding of the same few dragons over and over and over, you will be sorely disappointed. Don't expect to breed anything you actually need. I think BFS should consider if these very low breeding odds are actually doing the game any good at all. For me, buying or wishing for dragons can't match the excitement of breeding them. And having the opportunity to try to breed them for weeks or months on end with no joy is not exciting either. Just frustrating and annoying. Eventually a game that frustrates and annoys its players will fade away.

I guess, like many long term players, Bring 'em Back means more fails on the one or two things you need rather than a chance to catch up.
When I only needed Chromacorn, Ts'aishen, Starlight and Glimmerwing before BEB started, there wasn't much to hope for.
No luck breeding the two Galaxy, but picked both up with Galaxy Mystery Eggs. No luck getting the last 3 pieces for Ts'aishen (although I could buy them outright as of today). And no luck breeding Chromacorn.
Have managed to breed a heap of other junk (mostly in rift breeding fails). Did get a rifted Dartwing, 2nd Abraxas, 2nd Fireflight, and even managed to clone Starlight in the coop with my rifted version.
EDIT: Starlight bred, not Glimmerwing

Update and to be scrupulously fair; that must have counted as a whine (Thankyou Gods of Whine, hic) as I became momentarily sufficiently pure to breed a 'corn... in the last 2 available days...
many many many tribes of 🦄 friendly 🐨 to all still breeding in hope 🦄🐨🦄🐨🦄🐨🦄🐨🦄🐨🦄🐨🦄

Agreed, way too touchy.
same here, every time I try to click on the green check mark to place something, it clicks on something else and prevents me from moving/placing the original object. Not fun, but the worse part is that we can’t change this. This is the only way to move objects now. 😔😠

Maybe we should revert to using the storage transfer system?? Will try it... Would still be less clicks lol
except for the old, glitch pedestals - they revert to how they currently look if you put them in storage :/ But my problem is more when I try to click on the green checkmark and then it clicks on something else in the lower right screen, and loses the object I’m placing...
ATTN: BFS, I have been playing this game long enough to remember when we players would save our breeding failures as pedestals to keep track of how many failed breeds it took to get the newest desired dragon. It used to take 60 to 80 breedings to get an Epic, a little over 100 if you were really unlucky. I tried for Chromacorn with 500+ breedings with level 20 dragons and could not breed it. This makes me so sad. What makes me even sadder is to see players leave the game because they can’t even friend members of their own family unless they agree to bow to the Facebook megalith. Still no in-game friending mechanism is adding to the destruction of Dragonvale. I do not fault the BFS employees as I do not think these were their decisions. So...
ATTN: HASBRO, Do everyone a favor who formally enjoyed this game. Fire all the Hasbro employees you placed at BFS and hire back the BFS employees you let go when you bought the company. Then, butt out and let the creators at BFS make all the decisions.

I agree wholeheartedly with all of the above. Especially: "Sad." Ever since my daughter introduced our family to DragonVale - when it was a NEW app! - the game has been an engaging connection between all of us, bringing in friends and crossing cultural & geographic divides. But we're all talking about this same disenchantment you speak of here, and have remarked how this constant frenzied pace you allude to feels like a thinly veiled push for profit; not that we begrudge BFS a well-deserved income... But we're used to feeling like we can "win" sometimes, a perception now replaced with a "what's the point" surrender to futility. Maybe some time off is in order. We have all tapered off, but it really would make me sad if we lost interest entirely in this arena which has provided us with such a beautiful, entertaining, challenging social space.
I hope BFS reads these posts and takes our feelings to heart.
I have no idea how to implement something like this, but what about having an "event" that focused on one of the original main attractions of DV? What if we had an event that didn't push push push for event currency and new dragons, but instead relaxed in the vale with decorating. A decorating contest of sorts, where breeding was secondary (and intentionally made easy in a way that was limited: you could breed for a special dragon with a high percentage chance using, say, a token you get with event currency). Perhaps every increase in park visitors generates a number of "blank" tokens, and you can use 1 blank for a common dragon of your choice, 2 for rare, 3 for epic, etc. Then you breed with an appropriate pair to breed the dragon you want.
The point is, BeB is so difficult now with so many dragons, and the grind of events have so many people worn out. This would be fun, enticing, but still casual. A different kind of event, they don't ALL have to be grind grind grind
iOS GCID EuroKnuter Friends ALWAYS welcome, but I'm full for GT buddies =) Rockin' an ElektronX Jet Icon!

THIS^^^^^ MDVFA - Make DragonVale Fun Again Back to back jump through hoops events are not exciting, they are exhausting. All of the above. ^ And I would add: How about rolling out the dozens of Golden Hybrids we are missing so our pedestal displays aren’t cluttered with placeholders? Now that would satisfy our need to breed dragons and be exciting.

Of course you’re right Cyn, it has become a $$$ grab, especially since the introduction of the Rift. When I questioned BFS about it their reply was (paraphrasing here) “The Rift was for the ‘long term’.” A pretty weak explanation.
One thing I’m sure of is that Hasbro corporate has directed BFS to produce more revenue. The functioning of this latest Event proves this.
When I log into the game it says I need to have the latest update.
When I go to the Ap store, it says I have no update to download.
I am having a blast!
I know in iOS if the update isn’t showing then go into the App Store, search for ‘DragonVale’ and it then shows the update.
