Maybe I am wrong, but it seems to me that you would want to find someone to exchange codes with. If you enter someones code and they don't enter yours you will get nothing, but they will get gems. It's to your advantage to get a bunch of players to enter your code, but you can' t pay them back the favor.

I "traded" codes with a friend of mine, and I agree that this seems the best way rather than just posting your code and hoping someone will redeem yours. However, you do get gems for redeeming someone's code. It goes like this:
I put in Cira's code. I received 25 gems for redeeming it. She recieved 50 gems (my in game lvl) Cira put in my code. She received 25 gems for redeeming it. I received 50 gems.
This way we both benefited.

Edited an error and posted the short version of the point of the friend code.
Edited your bit - you can enter any player's code (and for any reason).
It is going to add to the confusion if people think they can only use the code of the person who invited them to the game.
In a months time when all this foolishness is behind us, the point of the code will be to enter the code of the person who introduced you. That's what it is for.

Foolishness to one man......50 gems to another.....meh.......

You can be difficult at times.
If it is intended to introduce people, then why can't players who are less than level 10 redeem a code?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but how am I going to invite someone who is already at level 10?
Fletch, you are entitled to your opinion - but you cannot state something you believe about the intentions of BFS as fact.
For someone that is an atheist, you have an almost religious fervour towards BFS.
I found the magic event to be very much like religion - everyone had different opinions on what was going to happen at the end and many people stated AS FACT what was going to happen when in reality, nobody knew exactly what would happen.
