Ohhh this thread is so full of sweet stories. I can't really remember, but I think I was looking for gem friends. Started on the wiki then googled "DV community". I came out of lurking for the I Hate opal contest because I missed Sapphire but didn't want to miss my birthstone. I liked the atmosphere here and stayed. Most things I do for a bit and then drop, but not DV, thanks to this forum.

Google, IIRC. When the Rift event came up, I was mad for anything that might give me an edge in gathering magic, and ran a search for something like "Dragonvale forum".

I remember how much I like your forum name. Don't know if you remember...It was one of the dbl weekends and we were grinding bushes, and I started complaining how my entire my was aching. You replied to my post. You too were aching in places you didn't know were possible.

LOL! Yes, I remember. I still can't decide if we were better or worse off with no caps on earning a day's points, but having such lofty goals to reach!
"Joliesdragons" actually comes from a four year stint of playing Webkinz--and whenever I think about how much I've spent on DV, it pales by comparison to what I spent on THAT game. *shivers* Jolie is a stuffed special edition Valentine's puppy I picked up back then, white & covered with pink & red hearts. Her first virtual dragons were over on dragcave.net, when I was active on that game.
And, oh look, our dragons are still smoking together. Just bred ANOTHER one. If they ever manage twin Smokes, I'll have to name mine Buffy.

That's odd...I didn't get a twin!
Then again...they just bred yet another Smoke. I think we're up to 8 or 9 now. LOL! So I'm sure another twin or ten will show up before Delirium ever does....

Followed a yellow brick road With wapatango on it. Who should I find but my favorite princess/minion, Fletch_smf! And many Friends whose parks I have long admired: Pixie and GregDarcy and even lemmyloop, too! And suddenly I wasn't in Kansas anymore. Many new and fabulously gay Valers too numerous to list draw me back here for some solid RL/DV houseparty action

Lol I came here through Google...its an awesome forum and I'm soooo glad I found it
Yay! This forum has made the difference for me between sticking with Dragonvale and letting it go. It would be a hard game to play solo, figuring it all out yourself as you go along. And the encouragement when you are having trouble breeding for a specific dragon doesn't hurt either!
