Gifting gems doesn't get you ffs.
Selling(hatching) a river brought me 20 ffs.
Does anybody know what the limit of ffs for gem speed ups is ? What has it been in the last events ?
I strongly believe that I will not get that tower. In one week we are going on summer holiday until exactly the 3rd of August. And I don't know if we will have internet connection.

Also...if you display an egg, rather than hatching it you don't get any ffs. Guess my egg collecting is going to have to wait!
If you sell the egg instead of hatching it you get Fireflies.
I expect you don't get fireflies for displaying because you get them for selling the displayed egg and they don't want people double dipping? (Though by getting fireflies for selling displayed they open it up for folks to be able to sell their standing gardens of display eggs...)

Thank you! What did you speed in your tests? That is, do breeding and hatching both give gem bonus? I wonder if speeding up other things, such as island summoning or habitat building, would also give gems that would contribute towards that maximum.
Last time around I saved clearing obstacles for the double magic days since I had a limited number to clear. I tested on our spare account, but will clear on mine during double days. Well, once the tenth island arrives. When I bought it, I didn't get any fireflies, by the way.
The cap for getting ffs for speeding up with gems is 40
So the ffs that you can get from gems is 40*25=1000. And since it seems like its a 1:1 ratio, you would need to spend 1000 gems throughout the event. Nevermind. Just read some of the previous posts. Of course this is not taking double days into account.

I have heard no one mention the gloaming stone... tell me I'm not the only one who has this...
I have a Gloaming Stone in my park1, which is my Kindle park, but not in park2, my smartphone android park. I did go through every screen in the help menu. I think I may also have got a bonus gem prize too... I went through it all in a kind of blur...

Kindle park1: nearly all dragons are frolicking in their habitats! (A Thorny little problem to resolve...)

It's a gift decoration that I recieved along with the dawnbreak edifice. So to clarify, NO ONE HAS THIS DECORATION? I can't find mention of it anywhere, in game or forum. Except that I have it...
Most likely Meteor=10 ffs. And 12 of those ffs was for the gems spent.

Yes it does. I spent 10 gems to speed up a g breeding and got 10 ff. It looks like the daily ff limit does NOT apply to gem purchases. So far I am up to 162 ff collected ( not including the bonus). No obstacles to collect from so that means my gem free total would be 140. So 22 from gems so far.
I sold an old pedestal. No ff from it, so backlog pedestals will not help. Though I may have been over the daily limit for gems from eggs.
Also I am showing 8 hours to ff reset. This means less than 24 hours between resets. Or maybe it is tied to local sunset.

I saw it on Flutterbyes park and spent the better part of today looking for reference of it. Congrats to those that received it.
But its this type of glitch that bothers me more than spending cash.

Double Rainbow got me ...14 fireflies? or was ir 34. Ugh. I foget. Should have written it down Ember gave me 0 though so maybe I'd maxxed out how many I could get from eggs.
Okay. So some have it, some don't. Figured. Like the extra dark remnant. Wasn't sure how rare this one was, though.

I am showing 7 hours now. It's not tied to my local sunset.
I got 40 fireflies from upgrading the storage tower to the last stage (35 slots). Maybe the 40 gems that is possible to win by spending gems.

Wow thats a 150 gems for 40 ffs! Not really a fair deal. Btw, in the help files it says that some days the wizard will hide twice as many fs as usual. Not saying which days but i am afraid this will replace the double ffs week ends.
