I've fulfilled my extra pledge with gems to Crumble, GD, Rulilind and Lemmyloop. Thankfully, ElektronX ran a more effective competition than some of her previous ones.

As always, the exact pledge is up to you. wapatango and I started this madness. Basically the idea is to pick your arch enemy and pledge one or more gems to everyone who is still in when your enemy loses the comp. this means your enemy gets no gems at all, but the risk is if he is the first to get the dragon, then you have to pay everyone else your pledge. On the other hand, if your enemy wins the comp, you don't have to pay anything. Wapatango and I are pledging one for the first dragon, then a second for the second and so on. It could get VERY expensive in gems handed out if Wapatango gets back to back dragons before anyone else gets one.
This post made me think you had committed to a third round. However, maybe I was so blown away by the fact that you put us in the same sentence and that you put me first that I misunderstood. I know that putting me first is proper grammar, but you aren't myke the Grammar Borg. You are GregDarcy the Dragon Eater.

Well I got my second leathery, thought it was a Sun/Moon/RB but was happily surprised. Looks like my crowned Blue Fire and Frostfire were good choicse for this comp!

Since he uses our pledges as an example of how a pledge works, I think one could argue the case that he was giving us his pledge. After all, he could have said, "Wapatango and I have pledged one gem to people still in the comp after the other person gets their first, and another gem to everyone still in the comp after our competitor gets a second. Wapatango has also pledged a third gem to everyone still in the comp after I get my third." Since he didn't, we should take that post as a changed pledge, especially when we know his competitive nature. He would never let me get ahead of him in pledge making. Thus, this an open and shut case... Don't you want me as your lawyer if you ever go to court?

I thought today might be the day Leathery shows up, being the actual anniversary and all. But instead I got a Moon/RB in the cave and an obsidian and then another obsidian/lava on the island. Still hoping Leathery come soon so I have a chance to try for the other two. I was pleasantly surprised to see a gift of gems from BFS!
Still another 18+ hr to go before I can hit "Retry", same story on both breeding sites...@$&@$%#!
I understand the feeling, as I had the same situation a while ago on my main account. I have an even worse situation on a small account I am playing on Android. I got a Rainbow/moon this morning and tonight I got a DR. Oh well, just look at the DC I will be able to earn.

I have updated my post here. I have finished paying everyone their first gem. I used my dad's old apple account to send a couple people their second gem. It is hard to believe that there are only 5 people left... I hope to hear of all your successes soon, and preferably before GregDarcy gets his third.

It was a cunning plan to get you to pledge a fourth gem without my needing to increase my pledge. Shame it didn't work. But then that's what to expect of a cunning plan. I sould have made it a million to one chance instead. Much more likely to work out.
