LAST CALL FOR RAGNAROK

RAGNARÖK!! I LOVE IT! (Grew up on the Eddas). Everything we needed (which will not prevent me from getting a second Apocalypse when I can).

I've jumped in with Lava + Ruin.

Those wanting Lunar Eclipses will also be happy to note the Umbral Sculpture's gone black.

And so it begins. As promised, here are the results of the dice rolls governing the specifics of my pledge:

A) 1 gem to each competitor still in the running after me (no roll required)
B) 3 gems to the winner (1d4)
C) 3 gems deep into the runner-up list (1st, 2nd, 3rd runners up) (1d6)
D) 5 random recipients rolled from entry list of 29, overs discarded (1d100): 85, 21, 38, 62, 1, 58, 84, 27, 42, 14, 69, 22.

E) 1 gem deducted from "boring" creator I have decided to waive this deduction since the provenance is fuzzy...

Regarding point D): I note that Davellan registered his entry before the contest began but has not been added to the list. I have included him in the rolls.

I will update my payout table when/if I drop out and the balance of my debt becomes clear.

I know some people made pledges based upon the fact that flutterbye Bloodstone and myself can't play since we are on Android.....Well (insert drum roll) just before my hour and a half conference call I put in a LV 17 Ruin and a LV 20 Lava and sped up the first two fails and Voila on the 3rd attempt there was RAGNAROK, sped him up and he is in my nursery. Koala to all

Sorry Newf, I'm afraid registration is closed. It may seem nitpicky, with the dragon having just been released, but we stick to the rules in the interest of fairness to everyone in the community.

We will open a new Last Call registration soon for the next yet-to-be-released dragon. I would encourage you to sign up as soon as you see it and to not wait until a dragon is released.

Well, at least one of the clauses of my exciting, non-boring pledge means that I can begin my initial payouts immediately. Luckily (?), one of my (non-DV Community) daily gem-buddies has apparently stopped playing, so I have 2 discretionary gems to award each day until I rectify that situation. To that end, I have already paid two of my random awards, to shotgunsalley and to lemmyloop. Koala!

I am sad to say that I will be bowing out of this competition. I am having no luck at all with Opal (almost 30 tries, including 6 Geode fails so far!) and want to continue working on it since this new dragon is permanent. Fortunately, I did buy the new Apocalypse habitat before the price went up. I was sure they would not keep the Large the same price as the regular one! I will check periodically and send a gem to the winner once it has been decided. Hopefully I can participate in the next contest!

I understand. I am not going for Ragnarok in my baby park because I have too many dragons I need there.
