I just received the Treatery this morning after doing my daily sweep. According to the wiki, the amount of treats you gift to a person depends on their level. The treats gift is 20% of a "Pile of Treats" purchase from your friends' market, as the amount differs depending on what level they are. Pretty nifty mechanic, as it sends roughly around 5 mil DC in treats for a level 60 player. I really like how BFS is opening up the social mechanic a little more, but I still face those downsides of not being able to visit my friend's parks or gift gems/treats stabily.
Onward for the bush!
We seem to be in lock step. I got mine this morning too. I prepared a "special" batch just for wapatango. Use them if you dare.
I had a feeling that I should leave those treats alone. I think I won't pick them up yet. Instead, I'll let Wizard Zarwid take a look at them first... Thanks for the warning.
I love my vine dragon avatar created by ElektronX. Now, if only BFS would add it to the game...

Well that went smoother than expected. My first breeding of the two Snowflakes got me number 3 and my second breeding got me number 4. Now let's see how long it takes me to get those eggs...
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, I don't spend much time on the boards and miss a lot but what do you mean by let's see how long it takes me to get those eggs...what eggs? Thnx

The egg pedestals. I bred the dragons quickly, but breeding for the display eggs might take me some time.

Would these display eggs be any different than the two earned as event rewards?

In appearance, all Snowflake eggs are exactly alike. But the Dragonarium will be able to identify exactly which of the 4 Snowflake dragons each egg is supposed to be. The event will give you egg pedestals for Snowflakes 1 and 2, but if you're a completionist, you'll probably want to breed egg pedestals for 3 and 4 as well.

Thanks. That was just the answer I hopped on this morning to look for.

I've played erratically over the last 2 weeks, have 5/6 gifts and day and have spent maybe 10 gems a day and am around 300 berries into the second dragon. I *may* buy some next weekend to get the treatery but won't be getting the bush I don't think.
My park seems to have stalled on getting ice berries from collecting dragon cash. At 30 of 40 for the day Seems rather odd, and totally throws my calculations out!

Does the Snowflake egg art drive anybody else nuts or is it just me? Not only are the eggs identical (I mean, come on, that contradicts the whole point about every snowflake being unique!) but the star has seven points! Seven! I have to regard the Snowflake egg as both a missed opportunity and a design failure...

Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless gas, which if left alone in large enough quantities, for long enough, will begin to think about itself.

Ahh but you are assuming that snow is made from water in the DV universe. And that it has the same molecular structure as in our universe.

I will just be able to get the Dragonsai Bush with no spending (on regular days maxing out on everything except for gen spending, although I'm saving the rest of my obstacles for double days now, and mostly maxing out everything on double days, and by taking advantage of the split 72 hrs across 4 days, so I have effectively ~4 double days instead of 3). I'll be about 454 into the Treatery by the end of today.
I'm hoping breeding for snowflakes occurs past the end of the event, since I just need to breed 2 more dragons egg for BEB.
I'll wait for ovalith to come back around during the year to clear out that task.

Just a few days left & have at least ticked off half the dragons I was missing. Fingers crossed on a couple more before the event finishes. However may I say, darn you electrum dragons!! Darn you to the moon & back!!! They are coming out of my ears!! Go away!! Stop breeding! You take too long and I don't need you. Thank you please. Now. Back to trying for arbour. Again.

I know how you feel! I've been trying for a Century and an Ovalith (I actually got a Panlong and Bloom very quickly) for almost the duration of the event. I am completely sick of Geodes :/ I'm a tad concerned that I'll run out of time....
Breeding Target: Ovalith. It's ALWAYS Ovalith! Hoarded gems as a safety net to ensure an Ovalith during BEB, but I'm not sure if I want to spend them: I think I want the thrill of breeding it! Gems wasted on speeding up Ovalith breeding/incubation: 2890

I also have been trying for Century (in my secondary park) and still need the Rifts and Snowflakes and wanted to at least get Rose. Century has been the hardest dragon to get! My fails for this event have mostly been in the double figures. I've gotten a few Electrums, plenty of Arctics and a slew of Geodes, with a Moon or two and a DR thrown in, and those are just the ones I remember. At least I did get a Panlong and Apocalypse plus I got 3 Aquamarine trying for Century with Iceberg/River. I hope these last few days are profitable dragon breeding days for us all.

Ovalith as was an event reward. It is not likely to come back during the year

Miraculously smooth...
Park1, getting snowed under with 1s and 2s, no sign of 3 or 4 yet. Park2, not a sniff of a snowflake, just 6:24 breeding times... what's that all about?
Edit: a little whinge was worth it, I have a 2 hour Snowflake breed cooking!

Kindle park1: nearly all dragons are frolicking in their habitats! (A Thorny little problem to resolve...)
Smartphone park2: Geode, a dragon with rocks in! Still to breed 4 dragons...
