Before the current BEB, it was expected that the Ovalith dragon would be completely limited to the Easter Egg Event, but BFS did provide a breeding combination this time round, so there's reason to believe they'll do the same for the Snowflakes. In fact, since each Snowflake has one element different from another, they'll probably have different breeding combos. But that's a digression...

All these new-fangled dragons with their new-fangled elements... Why, when I was a younger lad you just tossed a couple Flower dragons in the cave and you could expect to get a Flower dragon. Nowadays you might get a Polar Vortex dragon or a Betelgeuse dragon or a ParsleySageRosemaryAndThyme dragon...
What's this world coming to?
Those were strictly Iron-Bronze-Age dragons. These days we get particle-accelerating ones.

Wow, congrats! I just got my second 3/4 breeding time and the 3/4 egg will hatch in 30 minutes. 50-ish ice berries for the eatery.
This holiday BeB and event has felt action-packed and is coming down to the wire to finish for me. Lots of fun, fun fun, but for those with actual life events going on simultaneously - wow, it's a lot!

The description also talks about it being temporary. That worries me. But hopefully it is just patter.

Yes, I looked at the OP to see if the information was there, but I still don't now how many gems the bush will allow. The tree shows 6 gems and gives 3 extra, the bush shows 1 gem... so is it 1 more to give? Does it remove the 3 normal plus 3 extra from the tree and replace it all with 1?
Inquiring minds want to know!

I certainly hope that "its portability is short lived" means that the period of time when it can be moved from Nipong to our islands is temporary (i.e. the event) and not that the bush is locked in position once placed! Enlighten me GregDarcy!

Out of the 4 Snowflakes, I have to say 3rd SF is my favourite.
Breeding 3 + 3 has given me 2 of either 3rd or 4th SF. Will see!
BFS - I need the 12th Island, I have been wanting it since the 11th Island got release. I can turn the 12th Island to The Winter Wonder Land now, and Japan in the Spring in March. So soon, soon please!

It is movable. Also when you gift your list shows you have 7 gems to gift and you can gift people gems or treatery or both as there are separate columns for gifting gems and iceberries and another column for just iceberries and treats. Hope that helps. Koala to all
P.S. When I got it it let me gift one gem, then when my tree refreshed it let me gift 7 so it synced with my normal gifting time.
P.S.S. To clarify after reading above--7 gems to gift plus 3 treats to gift and can give to any combination of friends you so desire.

It looks to me like the BFS wizards were trying to make a joke that didn't quite hit the mark. They designed the Bush as a smaller version of the Dragonsai Tree, so decided to talk about its portability. Then they realised it's not so portable if you have to plonk it down somewhere to use it, so they tried to make a joke out of it. It's a little "eh" though.
I guess the 1-gem increase doesn't seem like a lot, but perhaps it may be useful to remember that it's a daily increase of 1 gem (of course assuming that all gems sent out are returned), which can quickly amount to a lot if you're thrifty. Still, I don't think I'll be trying too hard to get it.

I will just be able to get the Dragonsai Bush with no spending (on regular days maxing out on everything except for gen spending, although I'm saving the rest of my obstacles for double days now, and mostly maxing out everything on double days, and by taking advantage of the split 72 hrs across 4 days, so I have effectively ~4 double days instead of 3). I'll be about 454 into the Treatery by the end of today.
I'm hoping breeding for snowflakes occurs past the end of the event, since I just need to breed 2 more dragons egg for BEB.
I'll wait for ovalith to come back around during the year to clear out that task.

Unless I was mistaken, I thought it came back last year? I remember ignoring it, since I thought I already my two and my egg.
1) Will I be able to continue breeding for snowflake 3 and 4 after the event ends or do I need to rush these breedings?
2) Is there a way to get a second snowflake habitat or do I need to store my duplicate snowflake dragons in the cave?
3) Any special tricks to getting snowflake 3 and 4?
1) Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing until the event is over.
2) Yes. Once you earn the Snowflake Habitat from the event prizes, you can buy more for 1M DC.
3) You can only get 3 and 4 from breeding two Snowflakes together. The suggested route would be to do 1+1 as it gives the shortest average fail times.
