Ovalith as was an event reward. It is not likely to come back during the year
Unless I was mistaken, I thought it came back last year? I remember ignoring it, since I thought I already my two and my egg.
It was released last year in April as an event reward. It was unbreedable then. It was rereleased as breedable (Hah!) for the current BEB. Yes. Technically that was last year, but from context not what you meant.

That's probably what they had in mind when they implemented Nogard. To help players a little that have no friends.

I'm betting that was their intention also along with hoping you would want to introduce your friends to the game and we can all have more playing.

My colosseum just finished for today and I finally got the Gem Bush. I think that will be it from me for this event, although I'll just collect the extra Iceberries for the extra treats once everything is finished.

Just passed 1000 IBs toward the Treatery should be fine, but I'm not getting the Bush.
I think you will get the bush ! You say you have 1000 berries for the treatery yet, that makes 680 you need for the treatery and 960 for the bush. That's 1640 berries you need. We still have 4 days for collecting, which possibly will all be double. I expect that (hopefully) the doubles will begin in round about 27 hours. You then will have 3 more days but 4 cycles of collecting. So if you wait tomorrow till the doubles begin you will have 4 "full" double cycles. 40 berries for dragons (* 2 = 80) 40 berries for habitat collecting (*2 = 80) 40 berries for farming treats (* 2 = 80) 25 berries for the colloseum (*2 = 50) 60 berries from gem friends (*2 = 120) 24 berries for finding Santa (*2 = 48) no obstacles to clear maybe crashing while visiting friends
That makes 229 (458) berries 4 cycles of that = 1832 berries
1832 > 1640
Even if your friends gift you tomorrow before the doubles begin it should be enough always under the assumption that the doubles will begin in about 27 hours.
On another note : I just happened to get the bush. And therefor all those nice people that gift gems to me should give them to somebody else for the next days.

I just want to remember everybody that this next weekend will very probably be a doubles weekend. In all last events the doubles started round about 19:00 in my time zone which will be in about 27 hours. The cycle for collecting berries will start in 15 hours. It may be a good advice to hold off collecting then till the doubles will start. But as always with BFS : nothing is for sure, it's only my assumption. Maybe this time everything will be different

crumble608 - You should do the same for me too, and allocate my gem to a much needed friend. I am already 200 berries into getting the Bush, and should be okay. Business will resume as usual when the event ends.
With the exception of you, all of my gem friends, including ones that are on a rotation basis, are still working on getting the 2nd Snf. Xx

So that we can make a mini gem shower for them. We also could make a second column where members which don't need gems such urgent (because they have gotten already the prize they wanted) can sign up, so that the gem trading partners of the latter could maybe gift to the others instead ? I would fit in the second column.

I am disappointed at the Twilight Tower; was hoping for a little more than just background change. I am not crazy about the habitat, and 100% in agreement w/ flutterbye. Got the Dusk dragon this morning. I think the Firefly Event has concluded for me , so now basically collect ffs and exchange for gems when the event ends.

I highlighted the stmt "I am disappointed at the Twilight Tower". I was. However I went along w/ the even, and ended up w/ it anyway. Wow, am I glad that I have the Twilight Tower now. I just love the current event background...The Northern Light background, and able to have it on once the event ends.
Previously, my thought for the Gem Bush was "eh", so much work for just one gem. Just as the event comes to an end, I have thought a little differently, more enthusiastic, and looking forward to earn it.
The game is being written as we play, the Gem Bush may revolved into something else, grander...
Well, bushes grow, maybe in the next event, our bush will grow taller therefore giving us another gem..etc or perhaps the much wanted 2nd Legendary dragon will have the power to increase the number of gem on the bush from 1 to 3 every 4th day..etc

Crumble, i second that proposal. I do not need berries anymore and have enough gems too. So for the next days I will try to locate those of my friends who could need a hand an shower them.
Hi all must admit that I am very disappointed at how long it has taken me no to get very far. Not sure I am going to get any of the new snowflake dragon with only a few day left. I guess the dragonvale people expect people to buy from them, not very seasonal is it?
OK, I've been trying for Light Rift in one or both spots since BEB began. That time has arrived...
Pixie, oh Pixie, my kind-hearted friend Please fly through my park, upon thee I depend. I find myself desperate, and therefore do plead For my dragons are hopeless when it comes time to breed.
Mirage + Mirage brings me more of the same Dark Rift + Love were also not game, So I switched Love to Sand- it might as well be Coal. (I'm enjoying the cash, but long fails took their toll.)
For weeks I've been trying for Light Rift, you see. All attempts were for naught. So please hear my plea. Sprinkle your dust on both island and cave, And whisper of Light Rift to my dragons so brave.
Perhaps if they hear you and see your sparkles fall, Their desire to breed other dragons will pall. I hope so, for Light Rift's the only limited I miss. BEB will end soon, please help me in this!
