I need 577 more, with only the colosseum left to collect at 10:30ish. I have searched for hours today, and cannot locate 3 10 egg hidden eggs. 2 blue, 1 green. Have moved every habitat and decoration at least twice, some much more. Have searched in edit path mode at least 2 full times. Have hard restarted my device once. No luck. They are truly hidden!!

I was unable to find all in one sweep...took me two or three sweeps to find all 12 with at least an hour break between each sweep...hope that helps

FINISHED! Got the relic and with NO cash spent! Whew!!! But I am extremely gem poor bow! However send gems to someone in needtonight/tomorrow...next time bfs has a double gem weekend I won't pass it up! Lol koalas and happy easter to all

Whew.....I have been really busy dealing with RL during this event, but I have been able to get the Relic without any money spent. Thanks everyone for sending me gems! Please send them to anyone else who may need them.
In the meantime, I've been growing millions of treats to level up all of my epic dragons at the moment. Some of the turbo epic babies can get gigantic!
Many thanks to Cesspitx, Joliesdragons, & Fletch for answering my question about the uncollected eggs & the cap (or no-cap). Fletch, you are absolutely correct about the unfair advantage some players with lots of generous friends would have & the generosity of BFS. I am about 800 eggs away from the relic, have 340 uncollected eggs and am not sure what to do. I think I'll just hope the relic will be available later.
Dear Wizards, I applaud your epic wizardly egg hiding skills. What I feared from the beginning, finally happened today. You hid the golden egg, on the golden path, on my egg display island. Well done! But hey, I found it anyway, haha! Unfortunately, I am getting old and no longer have the perfect vision I enjoyed for much of my youth. So, after an extra dose of eye drops, and a break to let the eye spasms subside, I'll go back and try to find the last remaining, expertly hidden eggs. Whew, I'm glad it is almost over! Almost done, I have never finished an event with all prizes, and this one is no different. I'm 44 away from the 2nd pedestal, and I'd rather have the treats to fatten up my dragons so will be avoiding the game for the next 24hrs ish! Haha. Hopefully by the next event I'll have saved for another island that I can clear during the event etc. Anyway. Hope everyone had a happy Easter. koala to those going for the relic today
Been reading backlogs and I love the way this forum responds to friends in need. I really wish I could've joined in, but I've been having to travel and couldn't keep track. I managed the Relic on my iPhone but had to give up following the forum. Not surprisingly, I missed you guys -- you know, that "accompanied" feeling!
I managed to get the relic in my daughter's park (which I. "Mind" for her) with my final gem spend tonight having collected every other possible egg! I thought that I had no chance when I sped up a 24hr quest & got the eggs for questing but not for gem spending. However, although they didn't show, they did count & the counter went all swirly when I sped up yet another 2hr mono breed. YAY!
On a less happy note, neither park has returned a mono 3 or 4 yet, despite constant breeding on both sites since the 2nd mono was hatched (over a week in my park, and several days in my daughters). Yesterday's whine didn't work, so now I've played my last card & changed my Avatar. If that doesn't work I may need some Pixie dust!!
A huge THANK YOU! to my gem buddies who made all the difference this event (echo 9, echo 1217, james valor, & vonfirmith)!! :0) I just got my relic without spending any more Real World money ($10 spent 1st doubles weekend) ... (Rarely am able to receive all the event rewards & always have to spend $ to get there)
Thank you BFS for a fun event (loved the colored bouncing eggs u added) & the beautiful rewards per your usual high standard! :0) Am looking forward to getting back to our relaxed DV mode...

Just got the relic, wahoo! Buffy, thank you SO mch for your help last night, that literally made the difference for me. I wish I could have returned the gift to you, but had already gifted everything I had.
Oddness noticed today: still dealing with bad internet, so things are much more challenging. Hope to get that handled today. Could never get BFS' page to load to send them the following info. Egg counter showed that I needed 13 eggs to get the relic. I had 20. Egg counter was glowing and swirlng. I turned in he eggs, the counter showed I still had 7. Perfect, right? Then nothing happened. My egg counter stopped glowing and swirling. It looked like I still needed to turn in eggs. Curious, I tapped the egg monument where eggs are turned in. It took my remaining 7 eggs and said I needed 29 more. Uh-oh!!! Harvested remaining food, giving me a balance of 4 eggs. Logged off DV to go send a support ticket to BFS. could never get the page to open. Waited about 20 minutes. Decided to log back in to DV to see if the problem corrected itself, as it sometimes can. And....there was the message that I had earned the relic, hooray!! But...my egg counter was back at zero. So...I ended up losing 11 eggs in that deal. How weird is that?
Also, I did collect all of today's hidden eggs, but never did get them all yesterday. Surprised to see that the game showed. Had collected all eggs, but I collected 1 golden egg, 6 purple eggs, 2 green eggs, 2 blue eggs. A different assortment and count than previous days. Interesting.
All in all, a fun event, and a huge thank you to this community, and Buffy in particular, for all the shared information and help. Koala to all!

I ended up spending $5 on eggs in order to get Mono2 in both parks. That's quite a reasonable amount of money for the fun. I'm sure I'll miss not having the Relic but I can hoard gems for a few years to get everything I'm missing.
The egg hunt this double weekend added a fun, albeit sometimes frustrating, dimension.
It really hurts android players not to have a full set of reliable (=plays daily) friends. I still need one more in my other park.
I managed to earn the relic in my main park yesterday! I didn't think I was going to get it! Not that I have any food to actually level up my Epics, since I just crowned my Panlong dragon in hopes of finally getting an Ovalith.
I got just enough magic eggs to get the second Monolith dragon in my baby park! Those extra eggs this weekend really helped there!
I spent money the first double weekend but I could have actually done this event without it, thanks to everyone here! I'll continue to collect eggs to get whatever Backflip gives for the extras but I'm not going crazy any more.
I have 3 of the 4 Monoliths... keep getting lots of duplicates.
