I had three eggs ready to hatch, and did them in this order with these numbers of eggs:
Quake - 10
Thunder - 20
Mountain - 10
30 eggs for gold in the Colosseum.
2 eggs for treats and dragon cash.
My kids exchanged gems right after the event started: the child who hadn't updated sent a gem to the one who had, and it came with 5 eggs. The one who updated sent back... and it came with 10 eggs. FWIW.

Somewhat - imagine if the egg from the loading screen was shiny and new, not covered in moss. You do have to zoom in to visitor level for it to appear! |

I found the easter egg and got 15 eggs and a gem for my trouble. It's not too hard to find but you can't see it on max zoom out  Also, the coliseum gold gets you 30 and we have 20 days to find 9000 eggs |

I had 217 eggs already. I wrote it down to be sure.
Since I needed to spend gems, I sped it up.
Got 6 mil XP, +20 eggs from completing the quest... and then another 20 eggs for the 24 gems I spent.
Either the cap on gems is lower than anticipated or I got shafted 4 eggs... testing shortly

Where should we go on the forum to find neighbors?
I have never had any before this event.
Also, could someone run through the process of how you sign up for them again please?
We can sign up/ask for neighbors through facebook or gamecenter, correct?
Perhaps there is already a tutorial about the process...if so, where can i find it?

I got a 24 hour timer on the quest. I had 217 eggs already. I wrote it down to be sure. Since I needed to spend gems, I sped it up. Got 6 mil XP, +20 eggs from completing the quest... and then another 20 eggs for the 24 gems I spent. Either the cap on gems is lower than anticipated or I got shafted 4 eggs... testing shortly I got 2 eggs from a 2-hour quest, 18 eggs from a 6-hour quest, and then nothing from a 2-hour quest. So it looks like the cap on questing is 20 per day. However I spent 33 gems so far (8 on quests, 25 on a giant habitat) and received 33 eggs for them. |
