With the way these events are coming thick and fast, I don't think gem hoarding is going to happen. I'm about even after each event. And I really don't like the speed these events are happening.

I agree. Previously I have made my view clear as to where I stand on the events issue. So I won't repeat it again. What I would say is that if we do get breaks, hoard like mad!

You might want to use another combination that doesn't have two of the same Mono's, since using two of the same would increase the chance of a clone. Unless you want an army of Mono 4's

Awkwardly enough, I only got my Monolith 3 egg when I decided to breed Mono 3 + Mono 3 and Mono 4 + Mono 4 at the same time. I'm actually not sure which combo finally gave me my Mono 3 egg. I had been breeding Monos 3 for a while and only getting Monos 4 (and other fails) as a result. Mono 3 + Mono 3 wouldn't give me any clones...

I've done just that -- gone back to the original M1&M2 breeding pair, although they've been very disappointing. As soon as the EBI is free, I'll try an M4 with one of the other two.

M4s are a lovely colour, probably my favourite, but I'm practically maxed out on habitats already, so no armies for me. The only upgrades I can buy now are a couple of cave expansions, and I don't want to tempt myself unnecessarily.

Pedestal in sight... ugh! Last push forward...
