I'm not clear on the purpose of the 2nd Midnight dragon. It doesn't appear that you breed them together to get a 3rd and 4th, like with the Snowflake dragon and the Monolith dragon - correct? So aside from wanting the weather station final reward, and just getting the 2nd dragon in the course of progression toward that final reward, is there any reason to want/need the second midnight dragon, for those of us who expect to fall short of having enough stardust to get the final reward? Does the 2nd dragon even LOOK different?
They are the same dragon!
lots of people here want to have two of every dragon, and it's easiest if it's given to us I guess...
oh yeah, and I am 654 away from the pedestal. Good for me, seeing as I never try properly, nor do I track my results...

Fletch_smf I'm really liking your added rows. Might have to play around and add them onto my sheet. I've noticed you've got a nested if statement in your Game Display row, maybe think about doing a Vlookup there. Vlookups are my saving grace... Personally love the "You earned all the prizes, DAWG!"
As for the conditional formatting... I'm assuming you're going to want to use a cell reference instead of hard coding it. It's definitely possible in Excel, but unfortunately this is where Google Drive is going to fail us. I don't think Google Sheets has that capability.
Once upon a time I was in a class that taught, among other things, Excel basics. One of our big projects was to make a grade calculator. It wasn't a calculator by the conventional use of the word, but it did do a calculation. Ever since then I've been building Excel "calcualtors."
Now fully dynamic! Though still with some bugs... All you need to do is select the prize you desire. The sheet links to the daily input page and calculates your average daily collection, and based upon that comes up with a rough estimate of how many gems you need to spend in order to get your desired prize. I anticipate incorporating this onto the summary sheet and doing a bit of an overhaul on the look of the summary. That way I can keep the number of sheets to a minimum...
Hey everyone! I'm looking for one friend who would like to exchange gems with me and my mom. A lot of the people we had previously been friends with have stopped playing the game, leaving us with no one to whom we can give our gems. My gcid is ScurrilousRogue, and my mom's is JackReacher1231.
Hey! I've got you on my Friend's list! I thought you'd stopped playing. And no idea you were related to jackReacher
Hi. Sent from my grandson wildskull6. Glad to meet you.

In the events before the Winter event (Snowflake) and the latest Easter event (Monolith), the prizes would almost always include 2 of the same dragon. There are 2 exceptions to this. During the Rift event, the first event in DV history, players could earn up to 3 Light Rifts and 3 Dark Rifts. There was also only 1 Dawn and 1 Dusk during the Firefly event. This was in the days before the breeding rule change to allow basically any pair of dragons to breed with each other (excepting the gemstones), so it usually meant that you would need 2 of the same dragon in order to produce any more.
However, you do raise an interesting point. If BFS is offering 2 Midnights as rewards for this event, does that mean they are not breedable by using 1 Midnight with another dragon, as with the Snowflakes and Monoliths? Or is this because that's just the reward tier system BFS has set as a template for their events?
GCID: rionhow Thanks to ElektronX for my Light Rift avatar!
I'm about 830 away from the pedestal. I don't feel so bad about being a little behind now. And has anyone been able to breed a Monolith with another non-Monolith dragon and gotten a Monolith out of it? I regret taking a break during the last event now.

Doing a happy dance, as I finally have a fire-breathing sparkly Dragonarium.
Can always use party hat friends, gem friend slots overfilled

From what I have heard, that is impossible. Sorry to hear that you didn't quite get your second one. You will probably have to wait until the BEB...

Thanks Lemmy,
I thought the completed message would be funny for anyone that grabbed it to use it.
And yeah, I played around with the formatting for a bit and couldn't get it to work. I guess I will just have to stick with my ability to tell which number is bigger.
Thanks again for setting it all up in the first place. You are, of course, more than welcome to use any of my tweaks.

I used to be like you. Then I discovered the secret just lay in holding your horses and doing one thing at a time. For instance, the first step for me is always gifts collection (after taking a good look at my total). Then, I hatch, sell or display eggs. Only after THAT do I collect DC, taking careful note of my new standing total.
The first sweep usually leaves 1 to 6 points off - something easy to remember. Then I hunt down the stars. The last thing I do is grow treats. That's how I've been maxing out on almost everything. Hope it helps.
lemmyloop, I do admire people who build their own spreadsheets. When I went into business, my partner had to do it for me. He taught me how. That's helped to a great extent, but I can't do the complicated macros. Everytime I declare taxes, the whole thing sort of collapses as to discipline -- you know, where the figures end up appearing

I guess it's not hard to be so bothered. But I don't want to change my style of gameplay. My way is more relaxing, more fun, and ultimately, I don't ever get the last prize, and it never bothers me either. But thanks for the help, if I ever really want the last prize, I will take that into consideration! (And maybe start using my spreadsheet....)
You may not be that "excel savvy", but if you want to know how to make a spreadsheet, it's really easy. Seriously, I've found that all you need to understand is the very basic formulae, and it's not hard at all! "The complicated macros" in most cases aren't even necessary. I can often get by the really difficult formulae. I only use IF and Basic +*-/ math formulae, and I have found that I can pretty much do everything I need to.

I too have been taking this event a bit slower - although not from event fatigue. I spent last month packing, and moved from WI to MN last Friday. I've been busy with all that to say the least.
I'm about 600 from the pedastle, so I guess I'm not all that far behind. I figured I'd use Buffy's purse if it came to that =P
Just kidding, I'll use my own 'purse' if need be. I mean, c'mon, alter the weather? THE WEATHER?!? Awesome =)
iOS GCID EuroKnuter Friends ALWAYS welcome, but I'm full for GT buddies =) Rockin' an ElektronX Jet Icon!

I'm 500-ish away from the pedestal in my main park. NO IDEA how some people are so far ahead!

Good morning. I've just finished my SD collection for April 15 and I'm 67 away from the pedestal. I didn't get gifts from all my regulars since yesterday, so I had hoped to be a bit closer. But never the less, I'll have the pedestal tomorrow.
One more day's work to the pedestal here. I haven't been spending gems or clearing islands.
Same here. I'm saving my gems to buy more habitat slots during double days.
Really happy with my gorgeous avatar by ElektronX! GCID: Andr3i4 Any and all friends for Cooperative Breeding are welcome. Gladly accepting any twins also.
This is because the stars are based off the same coding the guests are. That way stars and guests don't randomly appear in the middle of our habitats or decorations. However, as has been spotted once before on this forum, and numerous times by myself, guests often get a tad lost, and I've found them wandering in my park's sky. It is for this reason that I assume that it is possible for stardust to; as onejoebloggs says, disappear into the cosmos.
Thus, for those struggling to spot the star dust, make sure you reload the game after you have searched all your islands. This will force all your stars to come out of hiding eventually!
Naughty little stars, wandering off...
An update : I reset my game by turning off my iphone. On restart, both the purple and white Stars appeared below the lip of my island. HOWEVER! By rapidly tapping on each Star for about 10 seconds I was able to get the 10 stardusts. I had to vary the location of my taps.
Here is a picture of the oddly placed star:
