I did pretty well with the doubles weekend, but still need about 1200 to get my first Midnight Dragon. I'm a gem miser right now, because there are so many things I missed out on while I was gone for a few months, and I'm trying to stockpile for the next BEB event!

I give gems randomly to those who seem to need them because I'm not organized enough to keep a list, but I'm always looking for more Party Hat friends!
I was wondering why sometimes i get a gem as a gift and sometimes i get food...does anyone know why? Thanks friends!
If someone earned the Goody's Treatery from the Seasons of Goodies event (the last prize), it allows you to gift up to three bunches of treats to your friends in addition to your gem gifts. The great thing is that your friends will receive event currencies for both the gem and treat. So if you're feeling extra generous to one of your friends, you can give them twice as many Stardust! Or you can choose to spread your Stardust givings to 9 or 10 friends instead of just 6 or 7.

And so, the doubles are over. I noticed something.
I got two of my stars earlier today which got me 40 stardust, unsurprisingly. The last one I was only able to find after the doubles had ended. I expected to get 10 stardusts, but I got none. Maybe says something about how the dusts are counted on BFS's servers or something.
When points (dust, eggs, etc.) are doubled, so are the limits on collecting them. When they roll back to being at the previous amounts, so do the limits.
The original limit on collecting the three stars equals 30 points. Doubled, it's 60.
But you already had 40 points from the two stars you found while it was still doubled on today's collecting cycle. When we went back down to single level, you were already ten points above the updated 30 dust limit, so no further points were awarded for finding that last star.
Hopefully that makes sense. The coffee dragon hasn't visited me yet this morning...
THAT explains why the two obstacles that were ready after doubles ended didn't give any dust, even though I only started 5 obstacles this morning...
One of the OTHER things I like about this forum is, all the observations combined have reduced DV magic to a science (inasfar as that's possible). You'll never believe how much my game has improved since the Rift Event (when I still wasn't even a lurker).
Midnight Dragon in the nursery. 12 hours is an appropriate incubation time. Be ready to go when I awake in the a.m.
If I can continue at 300+ stardust a day, I'll earn the second during this weekend. And I could get the weather station without another double weekend.
so I'll start this early and see if that helps. Stop sending me gifts. Send to others who need it more. If you have not received the Starfall Path yet, please post here so we can lend a hand. Obviously if you are further behind, let us know so we can prioritise those need it most.
I am just over 1,000 away from the first dragon. My kids are barely playing. My mother purchased *everything* as soon as the deal hit the market. So she has it all. Both dragons are identical to one another. I am struggling along in regular fashion, and will make my purchasing decision closer to the end of the event.
Forgot to say: I have been trying for the diamond pedestal since April first....I have not bred into it, but have bred 1 platinum and 6 silvers. Yes. Six. Time consuming.

I'm getting fed up with how often the game crashes now when feeding dragons or going to visit other parks. What's the point of having these events when the game crashes trying do the required tasks especially waiting a long time for it to load friends parks. If your going to do a event make sure you don't rush it Ike this one was and end up with constant crashes.
I play this on 4 different iPads and they all crash and they range from iPad 2"s to iPad air's.

*************** I am definitely not a techie so consider the source but wonder if my experience might help u or others ... I was so frustrated last week w/constantly being bumped out when i tried to visit my neighbor's parks (18 times in a row on one day! See how determined i am to get every bit of that stardust! :0) ) ...... i was mad at DV & GC :0( Was a problem w/my other games too ... I play on an ipad2 (about 3 years old probably) & was thinking that i may need to consider a newer ipad air ..... I did a little searching on google about getting bumped out constantly ..the answers said lots of things could be going on but one they mentioned was my wifi router (was it being updated, was it new etc) new? updated? WHAT? never heard of such nonsense! it was 10+ years old (linksys) & plugging away covered in dust! ..... so off we go to best buy & buy a new state-of-the-art ..haha! linksys (think they said it was AC? & could handle multiple gamers, movie downloads, etc) wow!!! What a diff it has made ...(took my poor husband & myself most of sunday afternoon w/linksys support to get it hooked up...that poor young man should get a raise for his patience & expertise w/2 oldie-goldies who know NOTHING! about the electronic equipment they have! Lol! ) I am having no problems now w/getting bumped out of any of my games & it has extended the coverage to every inch of our house (no need for our old walmart belkin wifi extender now either) .... Perhaps the above may be an option for u .... :0)

I am not sure this is Dragonvale's fault. I get bounced when I am playing at work but NOT at home or even when on cellular data and out and about. I think its something about the wireless network at work that is causing it.

I love the look of the Midnight dragon. The color is really beautiful and the wings and tail are simply gorgeous. The horns are also a nice touch. And the animations are great. I particularly enjoy watching the way it spins backwards on the air. Maybe it can be called a backflip? Undoubtedly one of my favorite dragons. The automated name was Phobos, which I kept, since it's the name of one of the two natural satellites of Mars and I think it's quite fitting.

Got to love Silver. He was my first Epic, one impressive good looking dragon. It has been closed to 2yr, now he is one cute, retire turbo baby Silver.
He got one heck of a workout at the racetrack. I raced him like mad till I got Kairos.

Got a 24hr quest at 11:00pm last night, ay, caramba.
I only got mine already because I realized that at the rate I was going it wouldn't be possible to get all the rewards. I don't get that many gifts, and since they are only worth 5 this time... And nothing left to clear as well. So I decided to buy some star dust. If I was going to buy anyway, why wait to buy during the last weekend? Hence my beloved Midnight dragon is sitting by itself on the Meridiem habitat waiting for more Midnight dragons to come. Now I am struggling to get the second one and hopefully the Weather Station. If I end up with more extra Star Dust than I bought, then I miscalculated and it wouldn't have been necessary after all. But I can always use some treats, so no harm done. As crumble said, I am sure you'll get yours very soon. Koala in getting all the rewards. I think the Weather Station will be superb. I expect that they will be expanding it with more weather options in the future, just as the Twilight Tower.
