Star Dust meter at 524 after today's sweep. Just under 2,000 still needed for the Weather Station. If anyone got extra gifts, please send them my way (thanks, Fletch!).
Rain? I've had enough of that for one lifetime living on the wet side of Oregon for many years.
Come live in Engalnd... Rain galore... Even in summer. Yay...
Anyway I am 150 away from my second dragon! Please divert your gifts away from me on is final day! Koala to all in their searchings.
I lived in England for a year and it actually didn't rain as much as 'rain galore'. It wasn't like every other day, it was more like once every three days
I wouldn't worry too much about the weather station from what I've read about it so far. Rain? I've had enough of that for one lifetime living on the wet side of Oregon for many years. Perhaps it might become an integral part of the game at some point. But if that happened they would have to make it available to everyone. I'd just play normally and let the cards fall where they may.
Cheers, Poppy
Thank you, Poppy! I appreciate you sharing your opinion with me. I am inclined to agree with you. 2nd dragon in the hatchery.
After the reset late last night, I was able to find the yellow stardust and the green stardust. It wasn't until about an hour ago that I finally found the elusive purple. Closed out my park for an hour but when I just went back in my visitors are telling me that stardust is back in my park! I have not found it yet, but I thought everyone should know - EXTRA STARDUST WEEKEND - has commenced!
FOUND IT! It was a yellow stardust hidden behind a Cold Habitat and my visitors changed back to normal. I will check my park a bit later to see if it resets.

I hate to say this, but it was either a glitch, or when you found the yellow star it didn't actually take it, because neither of my parks have any more star dust. I found all my star dust several hours ago, and have been working on garden stuff since then. I just came in for some water, saw your post, and checked my park. There was no new star dust available. The extra would have been nice for those who are close.

Hmmm, depends I guess what time of year, but every three days is actually quite a lot. Especially as in England it tends to drizzle all day during lots of months.
No longer active on DragonVale! *briefly back online*
Those of us in drought stricken California will gladly take any extra rain!
We've had a lot in the last few days, friends couldn't make it here on friday night because multiple roads were cut.
A lot of very heavy rain.
No 2 daughter drove to work in 30 minutes Friday morning and it took her 4 hours to drive home. My wife got the train home but I couldn't drive to the local station to pick her up. She had to wade across the flooded roads to get home.
Only 121 away from the Weather Station now, should be easy to get tomorrow. Many thanks to so many of you who have kindly sent gifts to me, some above and beyond, you know who you are.
Will be watching to see if anyone on my friend list needs extra help, no need to return the gifts.
Can't wait to see what will happen when that comet finally arrives and blows us all to the far corners of the vale. Can't make up my mind which dragon to hitch myself onto. Perhaps one of the Metal breeds because they are heavy with lots of mass. Might give me more of a chance for survival.
Looks like the comet is missing the aim, it is now behind the event island. In my opinion it will just go on behind our islands and vanish in deep space and we are safe!

I know I did get stardust from the first daily collection of the yellow one and the only collection I had left for the day was from treats and the Colosseum. The second yellow one also gave me stardust so maybe it was a glitch or just maybe the astronomancer Noel dePlante likes me best!
Still 766 dust away from the station, I think I'll make it.
I hope I make it.
I really want to.
I'm 941 away from the station, and I got around 560 dust today so hopefully I'll be able to get it on Monday. Then Tuesday morning is a buffer in case I miss something. I was planning on spending gems this weekend to make the Weather Station, but perhaps I don't need to...
I can't imagine that after all this, the comet would pass us by with no affect at all. Not even a hibernating alien spaceship caught in the comet's tail?
However, in the Last Call pop up for the event the Wizard Noel seemed perplexed and alarmed that the Star was getting so close.
Either way, it was still cool. I should make it to the Weather Station despite losing yet another gem friend. That's three in 6 weeks. Hopefully she is just on Holiday.
